We have purchased 5 cars over the years and each one has been a great experience to say the least. This time Ray went above and beyond to make this sale happen to my satisfaction. NO PRESSURE SALES, just the best service ever, so if you are looking to buy a new or used car and want the best, then go to Merle Stone Chevrolet in Tulare and ask for Ray, I guarantee you will love the service he provides. Thanks to Merle Stone Chevrolet and their outstanding staff and especially "Ray"Tony AmesVisalia, CA.

If I can give the Parts department a zero I would. I come here alot and deal with the parts department. The manager is very rude and doesnt greet his customers. Even if hes doing business with them. He ignores me as I'm at the counter greeting him with a smile and parts that hes ordered. I've got rude comments from him before about my parts manager and I'd appreciate it if he would keep his rude comments to himself. I'm here to work and enjoy my job and be professional. Not to come to another location to talk about others or get treated like I dont exist when I show up to your counter. I hope the owner looks into this comment because this isn't the first time and his employees that work with him even say hes rude.

It was a water leak. In order to get to this water leak parts needed to be removed. There was a special tool needed or I would have done it myself. They fixed the leak. 500.00$ later. Drove the car home. Noticed the A/c wasn't blowing cool air. When I got home popped the hood and saw the a/c manifold bolts were visibly loose. Well there was where my refrigerant went. When I called they played dumb and took no responsibility. Either they are dumb or they just don't care. I know the manifold piping had to be loosened to get to the leak so they had to have taken it off. They just didn't put it back together. I'm a mechanic of 12 years in a shop. This was ridiculous. Had I had the 150.00 tool I would have done it myself. Stay clear of this place. These guys are fools and are only in the quick turn around game. Meaning no quality service. Will never go back here and I recommend to all my friends And readers of this review to find some place else. Unless you are under warranty then it's not costing you but you should keep your calendar clear because you will be bringing it back. Worst auto service shop ever. Merle stone suck it!!

*Service Department*Stopped by the service department on 5/1 and requested a diagnostic of my 2022 Silverado, due to the ESC and Check Engine light coming on. Two service advisors stated that they wouldn't have time for the next two weeks to look at my truck. Unfortunately the truck had to be towed due to not being in operable condition. Truck was taken to Giant Chevrolet and the advisors were 10/10. My truck was found to a collapsed lifters and bent pushrods. Giant was able to successfully repair my truck and have in back to me in under 48 hours.

This review is specifically for the service department. Extraordinary rude, and incompetent. What happened to good old customer service? What about being kind, courteous, and respect the brand and company in which you work for. If I could've understood his name I'd definitely include it. I yelled at because I gave my VIN number to fast. Then after sighing loudly on the phone because apparently I was wasting his time. I was told that this Chevrolet Dealership doesn't make keys for my new Chevrolet vehicle. Asked a few more questions and his response was, "I'm sorry we can't help you ma'am. Ok!?"Called two other dealerships because I thought that was beyond odd. Both Visalia and Porterville said, they could order and program a replacement key no problem. Avoid this service station at all costs. The first time my mother called they through out a number of $250 without even asking questions!!!! I'll let anyone and everyone know to avoid this place.

Terrible salesman service from Danny Fontaine, he was arrogant and unwilling to help, he thought he knew it all! Found the truck a Chevy 2500 online, so we went into the dealer to look at it, we wanted the bigger mirrors for it like 99% of them already have. Asked if we could get the other mirrors, and he said no we have to sell the truck just as the sticker on the window states. We buy cars often, so I know that's ridiculous.. dealers like keller and ed Denas will switch mirrors and running boards, to sell the vehicle they already have on their lot, rather than try to dealer locate one! I then asked for Costco pricing and he couldn't even give or look up the price for me. He just rudely said my prices are already lower than Costco pricing! Never even gave me an answer! Even though they had the truck we wanted to purchase, we will not be doing any business here EVER! They need to hire more friendly and helpful salesmen!
