Our Service Technician, Mark, has been taking care of our old Air Conditioner/Heater Units at different Bakersfield locations, for about 40 years. He has never tried to sell us new units or parts, just like ALL of the other technicians, unless it was absolutely necessary! It's all about integrity, trust, value, and professionalism. Mark, like the rest of the office staff, including Vickie, have all the bases and home plate covered!

My dad called on Friday evening because his a/c stopped blowing cold air. The appointment was quickly scheduled for 9 am Saturday morning. Mark the tech showed up exactly on time, diagnosed the problem, fixed it with the replacement control panel he had in his van, and the whole visit was complete in 30 minutes. Absolute Trust!For about 30 years, Stockdale Aire has serviced our Rudd, rooftop air conditioner and heating unit. They specialize in Ruud, but I'm sure they work on all units. By keeping up on our annual Spring and Winter Tune-Ups at a highly reasonable rate (still less than $180 a year for 2 services!), we have saved THOUSANDS of dollars and the unit works as good as the day our home was brand new! Instead of trying to sell us a new unit through the years, they focused on specific technical issues and only fixed what needed to be fixed. That's integrity...and an example of how you are treated like great families should be treated!Beside that, they are friendly and efficient as can be. For example, Laurie in the office set up our appointment on the first ring and already knew what our preferences were. Tina has also been a great representative of this family-owned company for several years, along with other office staff and highly competent workers in the field.See for yourself!

I can't thank Curtis enough for the fabulous service he provided It was 130 degrees in the Attic space, but he persevered and fixed a major issue that no one else could. The other air conditioning places simply said, well, the starting price of a replacement system is $9000. It was a challenge they just wouldn't take on. We have found Stockdale Aire to be the most honest group we have ever dealt with! God bless you guys!

I used Stockdale Aire in July of 2022 to repair my A/C unit. They were very helpful and found out my mother board had gone back. I spent $499 getting it fix. Since my heater was an older model, he had to make some adjustments with the wiring. Flash forward until November of 2022 and again my thermostat goes out or so I thought. Stockdale Aire came out and said another part went out. I watch the guy install the new part and it still didn't work. I switched 2 wires around on the motherboard (the same one THEY installed 4 months prior) and charged me $565. After complaining to their office and being told that it was done correctly, I reluctantly paid so it would affect my credit score but I did file a complaint with the BBB. After I filed, they gave my my money back but never admitted they made a mistake. will never use them again

Stockdale Aire came to our rescue when our HVAC system (only 3 yrs old) had been installed incorrectly. From the tech Mark who evaluated the situation to the guys who basically had to reinstall the unit did a fantastic job. We were so worried that we would have to start with a new unit.We are so grateful that they fixed it.

Disappointed. Felt taken advantage of and probably should have turned down the repair and eaten the $100 call out charge. Called them out and told them problem was the condenser fan motor or capacitor. It took them 10 minutes total to test the capacitor and replace it, and still charged me $270. Didn't seem like the tech's fault but the company's terrible pricing. Should have done it myself. I will only call them again as a last resort. Use Hawley AC instead if they're not booked up.

The technician is always great. I trust their technicians 100% However,I set up an appointment for my mother's house in the morning and my house in the afternoon. I was given a few hour window and that they would call before they are on the way. I got three phone calls with two of them going to voicemail from 9:01am to 9:04am. I called them back three minutes later at 9:07am and was told that I missed my appointment window. I have a small problem with the office staff. I am very puzzled at how I can miss my several hour appointment window when I was giving less than seven minutes to call back. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed by Stockdale Aire. Hopefully this was just a one time thing.

We annually have Stockdale Aire service our AC unit to get it ready for summer. When scheduling an appointment, I told the folks I could meet the technician on a Friday after 10am. The lady scheduling, said she could make me the second appointment and that should work. The day of our appointment a technician called my wife at 8:50am and asked if he could come by. She asked the technician to call me, which I never received a call, message or text message. I got to the house by 9:15, still no call. My wife called the technician multiple times, and sent him a text message I was home and he could come by. He said 45 minutes via text. Tina with service called my wife and told her we had refused service. I then called Tina to discuss and wow.... she was not helpful. I will never use Stockdale aire again. Hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered in my life. Not saying your experience will be this way, but good luck with Tina!

I had a yearly check done last summer on my ac unit. The tech was young and nice.We started to talk and he told me he only did new installs.Red flag everything was fine.I spoke with some women.I told them the problem, and they even spoke to tech for me. This time was different, my ac unit broke down last night.They were schedule too come out on th 13th.I got someone to fix it last night.As soon as they realized i was going to cancell.They were very quick to end the call. They lost a customer who would have been very loyal.
