Stephen Shy Activity Center

This activity center is used for boy and girl scout meetings and also a tot preschool during the day. It can be rented out depending on when you need it. I have been to a few birthday parties over the years and it's a great space. Large area for tables, bathroom and a kitchen area, always clean when I am in there. Located in the back corner of Philip Marx Central Park, can be accessed if you walk across the park or if you take East "C" street all the way to the end and around the curve. That will take you right to the entrance and would be more convenient if you are carrying a lot of stuff. You can rent the facility for $50 an hour, there is a two hour minimum. You will also have to pay a $100 cleaning and security deposit and that is refundable if you leave the place the way you found it.
