Loved this place up until a new bartender they hired! Tall blond girl! I believe her name is Ashley! Why they keep her have no clue! Worse customer service you can think of! I would be surprised if she gets any tips. You can almost tell she hates her job! Not sure why her boss keeps her ‍ must not want customers I rate a negative star!

I turned 21 this year on January, so I've been trying my hand at bars and clubs whenever I get the chance. I've come here 3 or 4 times, and I'm hooked! They have the best micheladas in town, soooo good. If you have a sweet tooth like I do, I recommend the Mexican Candy shot, which has tabasco, chamoy (sometimes), watermelon picker, and vodka, and the rim is covered with salt and I think, Tajín. I love it! Went there on Feb 14, after work and they had Jell-O shots for $1! And had I DJ for the night, it was super fun! Also, no drama. There's a bodyguard right at the door and the bartenders are making sure everything's alright and if there's so kind of argument, those involved get kicked out, immediately.

Last night was my first time going. Really great atmosphere & it sure was fun! Except for the younger blonde bartender with glasses (I think her name was kacey).. Last night was PRETTY packed especially for my friend's fundraiser since his passing.. and instead of attending to the bar packed FULL with people... she felt the dire need to leave her work area and walk all the way on the other side of the room just to express to me that on THE EASTSIDE ON NILES STREET WHILE ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE DANCING she caught us all off mid twerk just to tell me I had to put a shirt on over my lace crop top !! Hahahahaha. I asked her are you foreals?? She in all seriousness said yes. Of course at that moment of her insecurities I wanted to leave immediately but I was there to celebrate a life that was worth living in memory of my friends passing. So I complied. I wanted to keep supporting the fundraiser but if they're gonna have insecure bartenders not serving drinks to customers over one female and her clothing options then I will not be supporting that bar. It's 2020 people... crazy part was she didn't tell me anything when I walked in and went straight to buy a drink from her. She didn't tel me to change when I tipped her for my drink. She only felt the need to say something when a group of people were just tryna celebrate and dance the night away. Cool bar tho.

On any given night other than Friday or Saturday, it's a great place to hang out, grab a moderately-priced beverage or shoot some pool.On a Friday or Saturday night, you WILL get stabbed or shot, no exceptions.Unfortunately, they don't serve food and they allow smoking in the bar, but I'd still see myself hanging out there a couple times a month since it's close to home.

Bartender stole my money..didnt bring back my change. I believe her name was Candace. I let the security gaurd know and he told me he would recompisate me with the 20 this morning for the inconvenience. At that time, candace came and tried to give me a few dollars wich was not the correct amount. I called Pam the owner and she just completely blew me off!! Watch your pockets if you decide to go there and if this happens to you, dont expect your money back!!

I used to go to this bar like 2 times a week after work. Little bar with pool tables. Good low key place to go have a "casual" drink. Candace is a pretty nice bar tender! She's me and my friends favorite. Like the pool competitions on Tuesdays

Great service, along with the atmosphere. My friends and I only go when Candice is working! She's hilarious. It's always a good time at the Sandtrap and the prices are always fair.

So glad they were able to re open. We like to grap a couple of cold beers and play w few games of pool

Was a regular here for a short time and my family were regulars for many years. After the new ownership took over we were disrespected and the place has gone to shit. Too bad... wish I could give zero stars
