In the midst of this pandemic my couch broke. I went to numerous furniture stores and kept hearing the same thing..."It'll be 4-6 months"..."it's on back order"...blah blah blah. After the debacle I encountered at Furniture City (check out my review if you're interested) I went to Star Furniture with my head in my hands and met the nicest man ever! I want to call him Al but I seriously can't remember his name. He listened to me, helped me and I got the best couch ever! I was so worried about what it would come in looking like since I customized it to my liking, but Damn am I happy with it!I ordered it on 6/30/21 and it was delivered 8/11/21. "Al" told me it would be around 8-10 weeks and when they called and said it was in I was surprised, yet ecstatic! I mean I hadn't even sold my other couch! I have to mention that after I placed my order I checked Yelp (I know...rookie mistake) and was so worried. I'd read that they just take your money and forget about you...ignore your many phone calls to get any sort of info on your much anticipated furniture and leave you to sulk.", but I did not have that experience at all! I will definitely go back and order furniture in the future and see Al (?) maybe it's Wes (?) I don't know, but I'm going back!

I was in the market for a new sectional and stopped at Star Furniture to see if they had anything I wanted. We talked to a very nice professional man with the name of Don who was very welcoming and showed us around the store. It's funny when you go looking how you can find something that you were not looking for. I saw a very pretty dining set which I am interested in going back to see again. The store is arranged nicely and the furniture looks good. We have purchased here in the past. We will be following up with Don at Star Furniture.

Upon walking in I was asked what I'm looking for and I said two chairs and two dressers. I was immediately informed that I couldn't buy dressers here. They ONLY sell bedroom sets. I said I HAVE a bed and the guy basically sent me away. What kind of furniture store doesn't sell furniture?!

Can't keep blaming covid for everything! This store has friendly, helpful associates and decent, competitive prices. They give you space to shop and think. Unlike some places that rudely lurke and talk the whole time. Downside with Star is they no longer lend samples of any kind. It's a big investment that deserves better seller cooperation. So we travelled there for pics several times to find differences in lighting etc. Another cost to us! Then when finally purchased they post a sign in front of you saying we must keep track of our original receipt and they assume no helpful responsibility. Gave us a bad taste as we left. Then one salesman had said free delivery then they still charged us $169. Delivery men were kind, careful and strong! Not the most enjoyable improvement purchase we've made, but those guys were super. We've done business at Star several times over the years, and it's always only satisfactory.

I offered a price they accepted then after I was excited gave them my information and was told to take pictures of my new furniture I was told that the recliner I thought and said I wanted was not included. They went back in their word and I did not get what I thought I had just bought. Poor customer service if I say so. Yes a misunderstanding happening but I was clear with what I wanted and salesman stated it was a three piece set so why should I be the one to loose out when someone else made the error. Your going out of business and in willing to buy but not after what others say is a trick. They corrected the issue today! Thank you so very much I really needed that after the last few months

I have yet to receive my furniture, but if the quality is what I sat on today at Star I'll keep my 5 star. Giving them 5 stars for the great customer service I got from Kaylah. They have the best delivery times in town (other places we looked at were 18 weeks out) and I was able to get all the furniture I wanted for less than I was expecting. Kaylah was super attentive and friendly. They had lots of options to choose from for our master set. For our living room furniture we needed a funky size so we were able to create a custom sized couch and loveseat and pick all of our trims and colors. Stars was recommended to me by a friend and I'll be recommending them in the future.

Bought a couch squeak, fraying, and sagging in no time. They came out and agreed so they took a whole section and ALL the cushions. Returned in two weeks. Still a terrible cheap couch for over $2,000 and getting worse by the day.

I bought couches from them and they broke within a year. When I called them for my warranty they gave me the runaround. They wouldn't talk to me or they would tell me to call later. Till it ran out and I couldn't anymore. Don't waste money Here for couches that are gonna break on you in 6 months.

We purchased a sectional from STAR Furniture about a year ago, and one end piece was rapidly breaking down. It got to the point where we could not sit on that end. Russ and STAR Furniture did their very best to rectify, and even had a new replacement end on order for us, but it was months out. We asked STAR to take the sectional back and they stepped up and did so. We are extremely happy with their effort, and for ultimately taking the sectional back for a full refund. I would highly recommend STAR Furniture.
