Sparklean Laundry

This place is a disaster. We aren't even going to start with the environment around them. It's nasty and unsafe. I understand the strip mall area isn't probably owned by this business, but they can do better. The attendants act like your bothering them if you ask for any kind of assistance or even to open the bathroom. I get that they deal with a lot of unsavory characters, but that's not my problem. That's the business owners problem to make them feel safe and supported. The machines seem like they have not been serviced in years. They're always breaking down or not working or it take $5 to dry a single load of clothes. I've wasted so much product on these machines it's not even funny. Today took the cake though. For the 3rd time in a month the machines failed. Their large machine did not spin the clothes and they were soaking wet. I had to show the attendant that water was dripping out of the clothes. I am soaked in water from having to remove them to put them in another machine. Did the attendant offer a shirt or anything? Absolutely not, are there shirts on the wall for sale. Yup, there sure is. Not my usual hour and a half washing time has become two hours. Not to mention you have to smell the machines before putting your clothes in otherwise they smell like mildew. Also these pictures are old because this place hasn't looked like this in the 10 years I've been coming here. Please go take a look at other laundry mats and make the needed changes.

I'm missing 2 pair of socks and I'm told it's impossible for them to lose them. I worked 6 days and only got 4 pair back. I'm sure I wear clean socks daily. They're not in my hotel room. They're not in my vehicle and they're not in the parking lot but somehow it's impossible for them to lose them. I won't be back.

Sparklean is my go to place for drop off laundry service. The staff is always friendly and they always get my laundry done within a few hours even if they are really busy. They use good detergent and they nicely fold and bag everything, my collared shirts and my wife's dresses are almost always put on hangers which I appreciate as well. Price is a little high for the service there is cheaper drop off in Bakersfield but it gets done well and quickly so I can't complain too much and they remain my go to after trying a few other places.

So I took my clothes there today, and I asked for my sweaters and jacket to be hung dry instead of the dryer. So I get there and my white sweater was black and my jack had white dirt and lint like they moped the floor with my clothes! Yet still paid full price and Was told to wait 28 minutes if I wanted to have it re washed and won't be charged!!!! Really ? You ruin my clothes and after a long day of work you want me to wait extra time and have me pay full price ? I don't write reviews but my sweater cost $140 and my jacket was $199 I'm not from here just here visiting! Like you had nervous to hand it to me and say it was like that ? I know how I handed it to you and it didn't look like that! And I got photos for every one to see! I don't want my money back I want everyone to see the drop off service you offer! I'm mad at that!!

Happy to stop in and find the laundromats labeled laundry bags are in stock; loaded within their vending machine, $6.00 and come in a variety of colors. These bags are constructed of both heavyweight and durable materials. If you have wet laundry such as towels or famous pet only laundry, these bags are GREAT for holding wet or special laundry overnight or the drive to the establishments.

The most rude manager ever. I got there before they closed by 1.5 hours. She wouldn't let me in because she didn't want me to do "all that laundry". She locked the doors and I had to stand outside in downtown Bakersfield alone until my ride could pick me up.Mind you there was someone in there doing laundry. She said she was too busy because she had to sweep. Ridiculous.

Was extremely clean. We travel in our RV and had plenty of space to park in the lot. I had a ton of stuff to wash. The 8 load washer and dryers were very convenient. $12 for the XL washer and $1 per 10 min of the XL dryers. My clothes needed 30 minutes to dry. A lot of reviews mentioned the homeless issue in the parking lot. Yes, there are a lot of unhoused people but I did not feel unsafe.

Rude ass lady telling me we better be out and done by 10 cause she don't wait a minute later. Mind you I came in at 8pm and the place closes at 10pm. Basically made me feel terrible at my visit. I work everyday in the week and chose to do laundry a little later in the day! Rude lady with blonde hair. I will never be back at this laundromat even if it's the nicest one I've been to far! DO BETTER

This is a horrible place to do laundry. The machines are always messing up. When the young girl that works there it's always filthy, she always has an attitude. I've seen her there with her kids and her kids do the cleaning. Homeless everywhere and smells like sewage often.

Let me start this off by saying my family travels for a living so we are familiar with many different fluff n fold operations/ laundry facilities. I had already called ahead of time and talked to the owners who was super nice which Victoria "nicely" explained it's because he is the boss. Obviously meaning if you are not the boss you don't have to be nice. So I walk in asking about their fluff n fold services she automatically says yes but you will not get your laundry today you have a $150 order in front of you. I explained to her I called ahead and my family will be leaving by Sunday. She says ok ya we can have it done by then just bring it to the back. Looks at my clothes "uhhh is that only for 1 order?" Me yeah I'm sorry we are a family of 4. Her" well is there kids clothes because that takes longer." I'm like ya I'm sorry I have 7 year old but there's barely any of her clothes in there because we just traveled up this weekend to visit, she says ya that takes longer I try to joke with her how kids never keep their clothes folded to lighten the mood nope she still that stank ass attitude. So I proceed to tell her my father is a bigger but I need to have his shirts hung fry which were in ONE BAG by themselves already separated, proceeds to say we can only do that if it's 2 separate transactions and I told her fine that's fine give me the 2 separate tractions and it was still a problem. I have never felt like such a burden to any laundry mat before and like I said we go to fluff n folds at least 1 month I've never been treated so stupidly or not ever had these many issues with an employee. By the end her attitude was so rude I just said you no what I'll figure it out because you are just too much never had this many problems before. Then says oh make sure you give my boss a call and tell him like I sure am you stank ass attitude like if you hate your job so much or going to ruin peoples day by your mood maybe you need a new job. What's sad it's my family has been her years before never a problem before the Employee Victoria. If you go try and avoid her she will ruin your day by trying to make you feel stupid when asking a simple question at the job she works at.
