Soy & Spice Cafe

This was our first time eating here. The staff was efficient and quick but not so quick that the food seemed like fast food. Food was delicious. They give alot of food as well. We had enough left to eat the next day. The restaurant was clean. We will be returning soon.

I don't recall what this place was called before its current name, but we've been coming here that long. This place has the best Pho in town - IMO. I was feeling under the weather and that is the only thing that sounded good. It definitely hit the spot today. Chicken Pho, I definitely recommend it and you won't regret it. We have always had quick and friendly service in a welcoming environment. A few other dishes I enjoy is the orange chicken and the pad thai.

My husband and I ordered their vegetable pho on Monday as a to go order over the phone. Over the phone she said the order would be ready in about 15 minutes and the order was ready to go and upon arriving home the food was still super warm. They package everything really well. This is my go to place for vegetable pho. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Although, I've never had my food to eat there when I go in but it's always super clean. The vegetable pho has zucchini, onion, broccoli and carrots. FYI: I believe they are closed on Tuesdays.

Service was great, food was so fresh and tasty! Thai tea wasn't the best but still tasty. If I lived closer it would be a regular meal for sure

Soy and spice has the best drunken noddles I've tasted ! This is definitely my go to dish , however other dishes I've had are also delicious. Prices are very generous and they give you a good amount of food ! A bang for your buck. Their Thai tea is also delicious. The place is small and cozy. Feels super authentic when you walk in. You're greeted and seated , workers are Asian and extremely polite . I visit often with co workers during lunch. Would recommend! Thank you soy and spice for everything :).

The kiddos and I have found a new go-to in Bakersfield for our Asian cuisine, and it's for more than the good food. The service is phenomenal. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and were there until about 9, and we weren't made to feel rushed. As we were exiting, my nephew wanted to take a Pic near one of the decorations our waitress said take your time. I loved the lighting. It's low giving that romantic feel, but roomy enough for the whole family.

The food was really good. Nowadays, the prices of everything have gone up. You rarely get what you pay for but in this case I felt like I got my moneys worth. I think it says the family pack feeds 3 to 4, but there were five of us and we had plenty of leftovers. It tasted just as good reheated. I was very happy with the quality and price. Would definitely go back.

My family first came here to eat while we were car shopping. We tried a bunch of different dishes and they were all great, but I especially loved tge Hong Kong Chow Fun. I normally avoid the Chinese food in Bakersfield, but it's actually really good here. The service is top notch. Everyone is friendly and attentive. If you want to support a local small business and eat some great food, you should come and enjoy a meal here.

I really thought that this kind of food and the culture was extremely worth it. and I will make a suggestion if you like spice, because I would get the level 3 spice in pad tia. I would say that the service was absolutely amazing and they were so nice.

Very kind and friendly staff and the food is just delicious. We order from them frequently. Our favorites are the drunken noodles, potstickers, and pho.
