Delicious Who doesn't want soul food? Comforting, warm, pleasant, and keeps me in my happy place. Let's talk about this food experience... finger lickin', lip smacking GoodGracious FOOD! Fried chicken was on point!!!! Like I ate it all! Didn't want to come home with evidence... lolAs for the service... I haven't been to a place where you tell the chef you're celebrating a birthday, and she just busts out singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our table. It was such a surprise that I forgot to take a video . She sang like an angel!!!! Good food, chill ambiance, then a SONG?? Yes Please!!!!Who wants to come with me, and let's try out the rest of the menu???

This place is CLOSED, went to the location on 4/30/24, but Noriega's is two doors down same complex and has the best soul food in town.

Found this new spot here on Yelp so eagerly wanted to give it a shot. Unfortunately wasn't very happy with lunch. Food:I ordered the smothered porkchops with the dirty rice and the chicken dressing. The porkchops were unfortunately poorly cooked. Very firm, terrible bite. I understand porkchops are very easy to overcook. As I'm writing this I currently have a pain in my third molar from trying to enjoy it.. Very unfortunate. The seasoning however can be applauded. The gravy and the dirty rice, delicious. I didn't even bother eating my second porkchop but I did take home the leftovers from my sides. The same can be said about the chicken. I consider it overcooked, but with really great seasoning. The skin was great, but the meat not so much. The waffles had a sort of cinnamon taste to it which my friend loved. I can tell he enjoyed the waffles a lot but didn't enjoy much of the chicken.Texture is very important and I hope this helps so that the food can be more enjoyable! After all, everything else is well flavored. Service:Great! Servers were very nice and gave us the perfect amount of attention. I don't like having my conversations constantly interrupted so I'm glad they weren't checking in often. They refilled my coffee without me asking for it which I thought was pleasant.

They are doing a menu that is very difficult to offer, people like silly Natasha J is a local hater on anything black owned or managed. I mean we paying $14 for McDonald fake beef soda and cheap fries, at least this food is real, go try the food for yourself you might be surprised. going around insulting restaurants like this is a shame we going to be stuck with in n out, McDonald's and taco bell if y'all don't stop complaining so much. Good restaurants with actually food are closing down monthly because of all the lies and hate.

Unfortunately, they are marketing their business as black-owned, which is in correct. Black cooks, but not owner. Food has changed significantly over the last few months. Wishing them the best!

Delish food and excellent service!!! Bea is awesome!! We had the Fried Chicken and the Ribs. So good!!!

Mediocre at best, three shrimp and two bland cat fish Mac and cheese was extremely oily and didn't really have cheese in it just noodles with oil, not going to even mention the cabbage, moms house is much better and taste fresh

The place is closed down. Another restaurant is there. This needs to be updated. However the new tenants are were very nice & the food was good

Their food is very tasty, great customer service and they give you a lot of food. My server was very helpful in picking my dish. Her suggestions were on point. They even had a Photo Booth and we were able to take pictures. I totally would recommend this restaurant. Totally rock

I am sad to write this review but the new soul food restaurant " Soul Sister House of Soul" will not be getting a repeat business from me. I was so excited to try it. The place was clean and open. Only had one other party of 2 there. The menu looked good but that was it. The food was mediocre, cold and canned. The waitress wasn't selling the place either. Food items were not available on the menu bc "the other 2 sister stores had more variety. " the food took long to get here even though only 3 plates were ordered... with no one else ordering food. When I asked for an extra plate, she came through the door with out under her armpit. ummm no thanks. I was looking forward to some good Soul food and even brought my dad to try it. Yah, he wasn't a fan either. I wish you the best but I won't be coming back.
