Sno Shack

Why is it that these old traditional Sno Shack stands are best in town? Excellent customer service, refreshing, convenient, and great prices. Perfect stop during gas tank fill ups or running into the store. Excellent spot to make a stop. Sno Shack is highly visible here. You won't miss it. The tiny cute place stands with pride. Check their hours in advance. It's hard to tell if they're really open or not. Smallest mini cup size $2.50. Small cup size $4. Regular cup size $4.50. Largest cup size $6. Not bad at all. Toppers $0.75 each. Flavors are off the hook great. Wide selections super flavors and mixers. Sugar free options are also available. Fruity or tropical? Coffee, daiquiri, or horchata flavors? They have it all. I always love orangesicle (creamy orange french vanilla) and the super flavor Wonder Woman (black cherry chocolate french vanilla). I'm not a fan of anything too sour, but root beer will always top my list. There's something happy & good for everybody. Each time I visit, it always reminds me of the favorite Peanuts gang/Charlie Brown, Snoopy & the entire crew. There's not many Sno Shacks available across the U.S. Love it. Refreshing treat for roadtrips. Best thing ever.

Definitely recommend Darth Vader it was amazing! There was about 4 cars in front of me and it went by fast.

My son's favorite summer treat!! The girls that work here during the week are always friendly and greet you with a smile. Parking is sometimes tricky since it's located in the Shell parking lot but there spots available. They do accept CC with an additional charge of .50 cents. There have so many flavors and toppings too..my son's favorite is Superman!

I. Love. Shaved. Ice. I am a huge fan of Sno Shack. I get so excited when spring comes and the count down till Sno shacks opening begins.With endless flavors to choose from. I'm one of those people that stares at the menu intensely knowing good and well that I'm going to be getting the same flavor I always do and that's Tigers blood. Mmm. The best in my opinion. You can add cream to your shaved ice, which I have yet to try but it's on my to-do list. They have candy you can add. I saw someone adding nerds in their shaved ice. Also on my to-do list. I come to this specific one often during the warm months and have never had a bad experience. The girls working in the shack.. or "shakaristas" are always friendly and add a decent amount of syrup to your ice. I'm thankful for Sno Shack!

The appearance of the trademark sky blue a-frame shacks with their red, orange, and yellow stripes and refrigeration units out behind them mean I'm going to be able to find relief from yet another hot dry Bakersfield summer.I love me some shaved ice snow cones! These come in three sizes: small $2.50, medium $3.00, and avalanche $4.00. This location boasts 87 flavors and 9 super flavors that can be combined to form so many different combinations. The last time I was at this location I ordered 1/2 guava 1/2 mango. Yummy - and icy, too!Beware of brain freeze, though. It's a killer!

Absolutely love the Black Widow and Root Beer Float with cream and the Shakaristas are awesome!

I love Snoshack so much! The workers always have positive attitudes and the flavors are so creative! My favorite is the Captain America! Highly recommend visiting any snoshack while in Bakersfield, you'd be missing out if you didn't!

Syrupy goodness. Much needed refreshment in the Bakersfield sweat box summers. I've been a few times and had great service, however, one time I had some teenager who lacked any customer service skill and made me wait while she finished text messaging from her phone - not even a one word response but a lengthy passage as I stood there looking at her and clearly she didn't give a crap. It blows me away that anyone would think that was ok to do at work infront of a paying customers at least wait til there is no one at the window- hence the four stars.

Sno Shack is the best! The Shackaristas are super nice and they have a flavor for everyone! I highly recommend going to Sno Shack for a frozen summer treat!

I came here once during the summer and vowed to never return again, it was a little girl helping us very polite, she looked maybe 14 or 15. My daughter and myself got a medium flat sour apple and as we ate it we discovered a brownish substances it! it was disgusting I literally threw up from one of the pieces getting stuck to my throat, I never went back
