Sometimes it's best for a review to be short and to the point. Simply the best burger I've ever had. No cap.

This was, in my opinion , the best smash burgers in Fresno however my most recent take out trip, the burger was quite different, less seasoned this time but still better than the competitors. I typically order a single smash burger combo but saw that there is an X2 deal that includes 2 smash burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks for $25. While typically amazing, did not hit this time around. Service wise, always fast and friendly. I will however, be still hopeful of this being my favorite smash burger spot and will recommend every time as they are the many times before delicious. Off night perhaps. Tip : always ask for extra sauce on the side for dipping ! And chili peppers for a spicy kick

7.99 for pastrami fries? Yes please! I'd come here everyday just to order the pastrami fries and it's by far the best thing on their menu. As much as I enjoy their smash burgers, the fries are bomb portion is very generous too!!! I love itGot the ABC (avo, bacon, cheese) burger and not much to say but it's a decent smash burger. Probably one of the better ones in Fresno in my opinion. Don't forget to get extra sauce on the side! (I think it's just mayo, ketchup) You get the most outta here, a bang for your buck!

Clean spot, the service is super quick. Small hole in the wall spot. Really clean inside. The food was bomb! Well done

The smash burger is really tasty. The fries however were on the salty side so that was no bueno. They are seasoned. They give you sauces. The service was okay but my food took longer than I expected to come out. The inside is small but there are some tables. Overall the food feels too salty and heavy for me. I think this is a nice addition to the area though.

Food was really good and service was super friendly and helpful. It's a cute smaller shop but was a little warm in there that day.

This might be a downside for some, but honestly, it's not a dealbreaker. If you're looking for a quick and tasty meal, you can always opt for takeout, which is a great option considering how well the food travels.Smash n Burger is a great spot to grab a delicious and satisfying meal. Whether you're dining in or taking it to go, the quality of the food and the simplicity of the menu make it a solid choice for anyone craving a good burger. I'll definitely be coming back!

Smashed burgers is growing in popularity locally and it is nice to see another good one open up to give my favorite smashed burger joint some real competition. It is also inevitable to make the comparisons with my favorite spot since this newcomer has to live up to the high standards, in terms of taste and food quality, the other place set. So far so good.Here is what I like about Smash'N Burgers. First reason is the most obvious: like the other place, the burgers are prepared with hand-packed fresh 100% Angus beef that is then slabbed and smashed on a searing hot, seasoned grill. This Maillard reaction caramelizes the beef and creates a nice savory flavor to it.Then, they have the requisites to achieve the ultimate burger: a soft and lightly toasted bun, melted American cheese right on the beef patty as it cooks, slice of green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, diced grilled onions, and secret sauce. Smash'N Burgers does not liberally smother the secret sauce like the other place, which I like. Sometimes less is more. If you want more sauce, they will give you an extra portion cup of the sauce or another sauce of your picking, including BBQ or ranch dressing.Smash'N Burgers also has an expanded menu [compared to the other place] that includes pastrami (for your burger or fries), waffle fries, a kids menu that includes grilled cheese sandwich and chicken nuggets, and serves milk shakes in - besides the traditional vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry - banana, peanut butter, and Oreo flavors. The other place at the Clovis location is still working on serving milk shakes.The burgers are a dollar cheaper here, however, if you make it a combo (with fries and fountain drink) it is $6 which is a dollar more than the other place. So you will end up paying virtually the same if you order a combo meal. The fries are good if not a bit salty. I also found a few extra crispy and perhaps re-cooked pieces. I would still order them again but the other place makes the perfect fries. This is probably the biggest difference for me between the two smashed burger joints. Both are fantastic choices, nonetheless, for the coveted, juicy, very savory smashed burger.The burger I had was 5 stars but overall, I would give them 4.5 stars. My review is based on the Double Smash Burger, $7 I enjoyed here. Please note the dining area is small, with seating for between 10 - 18 people and 6 tables (two with 2 chairs, four with 4 chairs). And there is no public restroom.

My first experience here was a lot better than my second. Everything I ordered the first time was perfection. Bacon smash burger, fries, drink, waffle fries and onion rings. Everything was still hot when I got home. The crispiness of the fried goods was on point! Although I will say the waffle fries was a tiny bit too salty but it was still koo. And I smashed tf out that smash burger. Also the soda machine has them lil circle crunchy ice for all the ice eaters out there lol. That's that good ice. Customer service is great. They are always nice. My second time here the food felt rushed. I ordered a smash burger on its own, a bacon smash burger combo, waffle fries, onion rings and kids chicken nuggets w/ a drink. That all came out in like 11-12 mins. Maybe cus it was almost closing? Idk. But got the food, went home, it was still hot, onion rings tasted over fried. My single smash patty didn't really have much of the crispy edges.. i would've preferred it. I ain't even gon hold yaw to that cus maybe I should stop coming in the last 15 minutes before closing lol

The food was delicious, service was solid, the place is small but there's some seats. definitely one of the best burgers i've ever had
