Sliced Lounge

This has become one of my favorite places to have dinner or Just a drink. First, the lounge is SMALL. There are some booths that are deep and private, like cubbies. They fit 4-6 comfortably - you could probably fit 8. There is one bartender (Jeffrey, if I remember correctly) he's amazing. He also takes your dinner orders. Id sit in the main restaurant if you have a larger party or kids. Like I said, the lounge is small. It's a great place to sit, if you want to sit at the bar counter. Patrons are friendly, staff are great, food is delicious. Ribeye, great. Good salmon. Great shrimp appetizer. Nice salads. Well made drinks.Not the biggest fan of the fried app platter. It's all pretty one dimensional and bland. Other than that, all food I've tasted has been good. Overall, a good place for a date. Actually took myself on a solo date and we enjoyed ourselves. Nice place to meet up with friends. 4 stars for the bland fried platter and in the summer, the AC wasn't the best- the lounge can get pretty warm.

This place is cute. Came here late on a random night and service was quick. Drinks weren't too strong but were still good. Didn't try the food but may consider it next time. It's a nice area to come to if you want to have drinks but don't want to go downtown. Don't expect a party here though :)

Service is absolutely horrible. This is the second time we've had horrible servers/service. We used to support this place all the time. We will never be back. Don't mind paying the inflated prices but service makes it a miserable experience.

The attached lounge is a hidden gem that most people seem to not know about. Awesome booths, same menu as the rest of the restaurant, and awesome seasonal craft cocktails to choose from. Definitely the best Espresso Martini in town

This place is part of A Slice of Italy and their lounge atmosphere is great!! We usually come with our kids to A Slice of Italy and sat in the lounge tonight to avoid the kiddo crowd and had a great experience. The food is the same great food as the main restaurant, but with a more adult experience. The wife and I will definitely be dining on this side when it's just the 2 of us from now on!

Did not feel like cooking for the night and did not want to get dressed up however we did not sacrifice on the flavor. When in doubt go with everything (sampler) and happy with it. The bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks were the highlight: crispy, stringy cheese and great with ranch or marinara sauce. The wings were a little disappointing: felt they would have been better if friend and not baked. The pizza was one of the best I have had in town: crispy crust, chewy dough, fresh toppings and great sauce (I did not even use ranch). The service was attentive and super friendly and took the experience to the next level.

Our 1st time going out here to a lounge here in Bakersfield.What a surprise for us Donald was so friendly and nice. To know his sink is wonderful and to have a lot of knowledge about the menu it was helpful for us The Lounge is nice we will be back to visit Donald

Very nice establishment! I came up for the weekend to visit my boyfriend who has been working in the area for 3 weeks with no days off. So I looked for a location for us to go have a few drinks and a bite to eat. Chose this place out of 2 other choices. It didn't disappoint. I'm big on a sexy relaxed environment and this place had it. We walked in and was greeted with a lady from behind the bar telling us we can sit wherever we wanted. We sat in a booth, which was a lil sexy and intimate. A very friendly guy walked over to our table and got us started on some drinks. I allowed him to suggest a drink for me he chose the lemon drop martini. Good, but not what I was looking for. We placed an order and once our food arrived my boyfriend asked if the channel could be changed to the game and they gladly changed it. A lady came over and asked if we needed more drinks I asked her to recommend something. She didn't disappoint. Don't remember the name of the drink but I will post a pic. I don't have any pics of my boyfriend's food or drinks but no complaints. I know he ordered some wings I don't recall his drink . Food was great and service was great. Definitely a good looking spot to have a drink and snack.

Those places is a hidden gem. You must go and check out the happy hour. I love the vibe and the people who work there are great. The food is amazing and the drinks are always on par. Take friends and sample a bunch of different appetizers.

Great food and excellent service.. Our server Arianna went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and gave us great suggestions to try.. The chile Verde Penne was so delicious definitely stopping by next time I'm in town.
