This is a long time RV park that has some full timers. Have stopped here several times and found the park always to be well kept and safe. Had not stopped for about ten years but this time I again found the park a nice stop. Roadways are dirt, the pool is not heated, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. Most of the back in spots are 30 amp as they are part of the original park. They have added 7 new drive thru sites with 50 amp and water. No sewer hookup but there is a dump station. The restrooms and showers are old but spotlessly maintained and very clean! Lots of hot water for your shower. This park accepts Passport America so it makes a great discount on the already very fair rates. Easy access to either SR 58 or SR 14. The property looked in better shape than it did the last visit. Grass around a number of sites and the sites clean and level.

Pulled off the highway for some time away from tractor trailers and extreme winds. Really nice park with all the amenities. Great delivery from golden bamboo Thai!!! Super nice people and a nice quiet place for the night!

Small RV Park in the middle of the desert. Well maintained and has all the necessary hookups (elec, water). Owner is friendly and helped us back up into the small spaces.

Just called this park and a recorded message told me that they are no longer open for overnight stays. Long-term only now. It's too bad this park made for a great stop over on the way to Bishop.

Due to the 14 freeway being totally shut down because of dangerous winds that caused a multi-vehicle accident we were force to drive back north. Most ways out of Mojave were effected by the wind and so we decided to find an RV park to stay the night and wait out the storm. In a city that looks like you should only stop for gas and run.......we found this quaint RV park "jewel of the desert" for us to stay the night. The manager (owner) was very nice and helpful. The rate was very good especially with discounts (AAA, Good Sam) and the park had everything we needed. All hook-ups. Cable was an extra $2.00 ...very affordable. We never got onto the wi-fi ...but they have do it available.Nothing fancy...but clean, well kept and there were some very expensive RVs here so others obviously know that this is a safe, comfy place. The showers had new shower heads, high water pressure (extra points for that alone)...and the tile work simple, clean, mold-free. After dinner we walked the grounds and it is a pleasant little place and it looks like it is a mix of visitors and residents.- Very quiet property- BBQ grill- Picnic table- Pool, well maintained- No fire pit (no worries of unattended fires)Surrounded by cinder block walls which may not seem pretty but protected the park from the high winds and kept the dust factor down. All in all a great place to stay in the area or to do an overnight stop on the way to the high sierras. We will be back!

A safe and friendly overnight RV park. I loved the level spaces, EXTREME quiet (no nighttime planes, trains nor automobiles at all) and manager, Doris, is a delight. A really good overnight rate for my back-in space. A basic park (we had full hookups, concrete side pad with picnic table and bbq). Only concern is the lack of driving pavement. It wasn't windy when we were there but I would expect it could become very dusty. If in the area again, I would return again in a heartbeat.

When me and my fellow travelers were journeying to Nevada late at night, our RV (the Dinky Doobie) was in shambles. We combed through google searches for a while and finally found our savior - Sue! Sue was asleep when we called but out of the goodness of her warm heart, she took us under her wing to refill our fresh water at no cost, drained our grey water, and pointed us to where we could get our tires pumped. Thank you Sue!!! Love, The Dinky Doobies

the manager ben likes to threaten renters if they don't agree with his changes to rental agreements then likes to call the cops on you if you ask to speak to the owner. the owner should reconsider his employment. there are a lot of un happy tenants that want to file complaints but can't because the owners won't speak to anyone according to the manager. The managers father who lives on the property for free like to make threats to tennants as well have a lovely video of it to give to the owners if they would ever contact people

We wanted to get out of LA and on our way to Mammoth as soon as I got out of work, so we booked a night at Sierra Trails. Even though we arrived after 9 pm, the owner, Terry, came out to meet us and to help guide us into our site. This was priceless after a long day at work and several hours in LA traffic. It's a nice, quiet, clean, safe park. That's really all we need for an overnight. The pool was invitingly sparkling clean and the grounds were very well kept (not an easy task in the desert, I'm sure!). Bathrooms/showers were clean and there was ample hot water!Definitely would stop here again!
