Shop Avenue

I had driven by this place a million times and didn't know it was a thrift store/antique store/consignment store!!! Someone posted on FB asking for the best thrift stores in town and people recommended this place so I came in as soon as I could. Boy was I happy I did. I have been back a few times in the past few weeks - every chance I get! Love the variety and the changing inventory. Great prices and super cool stuff.

The shop feels more like a boutique, with vintage items like Dodgers cards from when they were still in Brooklyn and a camera with the bulbs, the kind of camera you always see going off in old movies. Woven in, I found clothes, shoes, jewelry, furniture, bikes, and collectors' editions of magazines. That's a partial list of what's in this tasteful shop.Recommendation for a mental health day: eat lunch at Bangkok house next door and then go shopping at Shop Avenue.

I have been trying to check this place out for weeks, but they never seem to be open? Even during their business hours and when the open sign is on the doors are locked.
