Shogun Palace

Had a great time here! The food was delicious, and our hibachi chef was super funny and engaging - he made the experience memorable. The portions were great as well, we had a good amount to take home and food was still pretty good after a day. The prices are reasonable for the quality entertainment and the restaurant was clean.

Giving the place four starts for the taste of food. Let's break it down , service is ok. If I could only rate the service it would be a 2/5. Requested multiple times a refill on drinks that never came. The place is loud , fun and you are sure to enjoy yourself. Moving on to the cooks and food. 5/5 The cooks are fun and really try to get you to have a good time. They toss food in your mouth and make silly jokes ! Food is DELICIOUS!! The rice , veggies and meat was everything for me. I would return ! Service from waitresses could definitely improve !

Good food! We arrived at around 5:40 pm and only two hibachi tables were filled so we were seated immediately. We made no reservation prior. However, I did hear from someone that walk-in groups can dine-in for only 90 minutes BUT i am not sure if that's true, so don't take my word for it right now. We observed the table next to us were handed take-out boxes immediately after the chef finished cooking their food so we assumed it was just the shogun's subtle/unspoken way of letting them know they need to go so they can clean and prepare for the next customers / reservations, however, again I'm not 100% sure. Anyways, once we were seated, we had to wait a bit for more guests so the tables full. A server came and took our order, which was: edamame, hibachi salmon, and hibachi new york steak! This also came with a mini salad and miso soup! Once the chef arrived and finished preparing the grill, he was ready to put on a show for us! Everything tasted amazing and he did a wonderful job! As said above, after our chef was finished with our table, a server just came with take-out boxes and said nothing. Is it usually like this at other teppanyaki restaurants??? Maybe it's just me haha The atmosphere was loud of course. I would not expect to walk into a quiet place at all. Our only concern/complaint was the ventilation. Very poor ventilation. We were seated next to the right of the chef and when he was cleaning the grill, the smoke was just blowing in our direction. We were moving side to side trying to avoid the smoke and fanning it away.

The ambiance is a little crowded but it's a dinner with a bang. The preparation of your food is right in front of you and it maximizes the fresh taste.

The cooking is critically amazing! They even do jokes! They were very funny! The stake was as juicy as oranges, and this place it the BEST!!

This place has such a fun environment with loud music and happy people all around! The people who come here enjoy themselves so much while dining here! I love how they have so many options to choose from such as a combination from steak and chicken and shrimp. They also have sushi rolls to choose from. The sushi roll didn't have as much fish as I would like in it and it was more crab meat, but it was still good! While enjoying the hibachi the chef had such high energy and gave a great little show! WARNING: you catch food in your mouth and food is flipped! So you might get a little dirty. The food was great, however the chef puts a lot of butter into all of the food (rice, veggies, protein). It made it taste really good, but my stomach didn't agree with it too much the next day. Definitely a great place to visit and have dinner with friends, but not a complete favorite for me.

Sorry SoGun, but I just can't with you guys until changes are made. I understand things happen but yeah... I have no desire to attend the restaurant. It's Smokey in there, seems like poor hoods or ventilation system. Horrible place to take a date. Service can be improved in many ways, time & quality,... I had wine that was served in an old plastic ashy picnic glass... my scallops were cooked on low heat with no sear... and the tricks & jokes need to be updated. I feel like the standard is really low right now. Lighten up on the butter as well. All onions as veggies, plus extra onion in the rice, cmon guys. I'll try back in a year. Not recommended at this moment in time. No pics because I just wanted to leave

We always have a great time, the sushi is amazing !! Great for date night or family nights ! And the chefs makes things fun !

Service is terrible idk got this rude guy first he didn't want to get me the food I wanted when I was just asking for a side. Then I asked if I can have pineapple juice and he bluntly said no but yet he got the girl sitting next to me a drink and I that is unfair. I don't know his name but he looks like Harry Potter that goes to the gym and he wears a watch and has a tattoo on his neck

The food was literally soooo good.so first is like The performance then the cook makes your food then more cool stuff.also Mong was my chef he touched fire!the space was so cool nice and fun.definitely recommend
