Sequoia Mountain Bakery

The food here is fresh and delicious. The pastries and desserts are wonderful. You can buy fresh baked jalapeño and cheese or plain sourdough bread. They serve breakfast food as well as lunch sandwiches etc. There has been a line both times we have been here but worth the wait. The prices are fair. You can eat in or take out. They serve Peet's coffee. It's a cute place across the street from Circle Park. If you are ever in Kernville, you need to visit this establishment. They are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but that could change as the weather warms up?!

The staff are speedy but customers can make long, customized orders. Patience is rewarded! Yummmmmmy treat for a Sunday morning.

Not just your typical bakery fare! In addition to fabulous coffee, croissants, cookies and pies Sequoia Mountain Bakery offers SMASHburgers at an amazing price. Great breakfast options as well. Do NOT leave without a loaf of fresh baked sourdough or cheddar jalapeño bread -- it may still be warm. You won't be able to resist eating just one slice on your way home. Great service as well!

Finally a bakery here !!! We came in just check it out as the building was the old Italian place. Bakery was quaint, clean and lively. We ordered 3 cheese ham croissants they were amazing! Flaky goodness with the poppy seeds ! Chocolate croissant very rich and gooey! As i waited i saw the plates of breakfast looked delicious. Service was a little slow as it was busy but will definitely be back to try both breakfast and lunch !

Nice new bakery in town, took the place of the old Italian restaurant that closed recently. Their sign out front says limited menu, however we found the selection to be reasonable considering the population of the town. Tried their seasonal scone and grabbed a loaf of sourdough, both were excellent. Look forward to trying it again when we are back in town.

Maple doughnut was easily the best doughnut Ive ever had. The staff were friendly and efficient. Perfect location as well. So happy that Kernville has a locally owned bakery again! Perfect small town vibe.

Delicious pastries and bread! Friendly staff and great location. Purchased a slice of cheesecake on first visit and it was wonderful!

My boyfriend and I stopped at this bakery while we were on a day trip and I'm so glad we did! We got a pain au chocolate(chocolate croissant) and a loaf of jalapeño cheddar sourdough. The croissant was delectable! Super buttery and flaky and the chocolate inside was plentiful. Not to mention it was gorgeous. Now let me tell you! The jalapeño cheddar was fucking amazing. We live about 4 hours away so I was excited to eat this at home. We had toast with butter, toast with butter and jam, and several types of sandwiches. I was so sad when we finished it. I wish I would e taken photos because everything was gorgeous. If I ever come back to Kernville I'll buy a few loaves and freeze them. The service was also quite friendly. This bakery is amazing! We popped in for a quick bite and had the lemon loaf, it was moist and had a bright lemony punch and a ham and cheese crescent that was gooey warm and tasty. It was so good we went back the next day for breakfast. We had the blt with avocado, the bread was fresh baked, the veggies were all fresh and crisp and the black pepper aioli and fries were delicious.If you're visiting Kernville this is a must stop spot!!
