Schooners Patio Grille

Had a great lunch at Schooners. The service was fantastic, our server was attentive and professional. She made us feel welcomed and special. We had the Southwest Avocado burger. Which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. We also had the Crispy hot chicken sandwich which was very good. The seats were comfortable and the environment was pleasant.

I recently moved back to the AV for work, and started seeing "Had Enough? Vote Republican" (or something of that nature) billboards paid for by schooners around the AV. If you're thinking "What kind of person would let a bar guide their political views?" then you just described their quintessential patron and this place probably isn't for you. If some of those words confused you, but you found yourself thinking "Hell yeah, brother!" when I mentioned the billboard, then enjoy your overpriced beer, but don't forget to put oil in your Harley and fill up the Duramax.

Came on game time w/ my fam, to watch the doyers vs Yankees game and to celebrate my birthday! This place has fast service and great hospitality. The happy hour is mid since there's not a lot of selections but the environment is phenomenal. Price friendly and overall I'm satisfied.

Always incredible service great drinks and potato taco's are delicious! Chicken fried steak is yummy

So my review comes from the place of being a regular before the pandemic. This is only the third time I've been back post lockdown. Unfortunately, all three times I've been back, I've had pretty much the same experience: great bar food and bad drinks. They put ice in the pear cider and the wheat beer I ordered. The Ultimate Bloody Mary was served with a tajin rim, no spice whatsoever, and barely detectable levels of vodka. The drinks here used to be good, but just fail now. The food is still very good.

One side you can smoke which is a turnoff. Only if you don't smoke! The people are great But if you're new they take advantage of you, please check your bill. They mix it up add to your bill.They will add extra items to your bill.Make sure you double check your bill before paying!!!

Closed at "12:30a"but every time I come, they close at 11p.Not accurate at all. To top it off, bartender rudely dismisses every time. No good

I really like this spot just because it's a good "dive," and they let you smoke inside. But, that's not to say there aren't pretty crummy things about it. I'm convinced that you could walk in there and sit for 4+ hours without any waitress noticing you; it's almost as if you have to beg to drink here. The food is great. 7.5/10. I would not consider it a sports bar because of two things: half the time you have to beg for their staff to put on relevant sports (it could be Super Bowl Sunday, and they will have on NASCAR or NCAAW CBB), and the other half you have to beg them to put on live sports in general.

The owner and his friends are rude and disrespectful. First off owner friend told me I could not have my service dog in the business. I'm sorry not for him to even comment on. server then proceeds to try to say same. I asked to speak with the owner and I explained what the rules were. He then tried to tell me I could not touch my service dog as then my hands would touch their napkins and coasters. are you kidding me. And all disposable of course. He then proceeds to eat a huge breakfast with his friend(s) who now won't look at me because my service dog was doing his job as he is trained to do. Horrible treatment. Now I understand issues with fake service dogs however a service dog owner like myself would be the first to leave if my dog became uncomfortable or sensed something off or another dog or human acosted him. No business owner or entity has the right to treat someone like that and say you cannot touch your dog. They do not get to make up their own rules. Why would anyone spend their money there is beyond me. I will hold my tongue on what I'd really like to say but more education is needed. Enough said.

I genuinely like them but the wings I just got on Sunday September 15th were just horrible. They were super big like filled with antibiotics and growth hormones. They were literally 2-3 times the size of wingstop but I'm trying to find a good small business with good wings so I tried theirs. 3 out of 10 on the wings. Drinks are bomb salad was great, asada fries were 5 out of 10. Waitress was 9 out of 10 excellent service.
