Schoolhouse Grill

Everyone was super friendly, loved the conversations. Food was outstanding, the detention burger was delicious, garlic fries were also a big hit. We will definitely be back. We were there in the RV, would also be a great motorcycle lunch spot.

Great friendly service. We came Saturday morning with 16 adults and 1 child and they were great!! This is our regular destination for a breakfast ride, we have 1 scheduled here at least 2-3x a year. Good food too!

Throughly enjoyed our visit here. Smoked chicken sandwich was delicious. BLT too. The fries are sooooo good. We heard they have great ice cream but we were too full to try it this time. The friendly service was excellent!!

I am not on social media so I didn't know that this restaurant is way back in Caliente. They are on instagram and Facebook. Today 5/27/23 is their second year anniversary celebration. They had bbq from outside vendor and a few items from their menu available. Lots of people, great music. The owners are Kathleen and Darin, Kathleen is very nice. I want to return and try their regular menu. Super cute restaurant. If you haven't been I highly recommend.

Wow! I should have asked for the Chef's name, but man you slayed our breakfast this morning! Service was very friendly and attentive, too. They even help each other out. Teamwork!Eggs were fluffy and gently cooked. Hash browns were not greasy and had a perfectly crispy exterior, as well as the chicken fried steak remaining crispy under the generous amount of peppered gravy! The pancakes were light and fluffy and biscuits were too! Will have y'all on repeat for breakfast!

We stopped in at the school house for lunch. The food is high quality and the atmosphere is really nice. The service was perfect. I would recommend the school house to anyone passing through.
