First this place has Cold beer, second they are happy to see you... these are a big plus for me. The enchilada suizas were ordered but we had them made with corn tortillas not flour.. this was not a problem. We also ordered Tostadas de Camaron. It was all amazing.

It has an old cantina ambiance. We first walked in and sat on the bar since there seemed to be like a big meeting so we thought it was reserved which was weird because it was "Thursday Karaoke" but as we chill got a drink... I saw the waiter putting salsa back on the container from a table he just cleaned up and then, served from the same container salsa to a new table! Absolutely gross! Then, we realized it was a Christmas Party from a random company that decided to do it there because they have a sound system so they hog the microphone for their white elephant activity so at that point no one could do karaoke and the DJ couldn't say no. lol I'm dead...Since the salsa was out of the equation I order taquitos, I was meeting an old friend and didn't want to be rude so decided on something small, simple and sure... Nope. Super dry and no flavor. Wouldn't go back again. It was kinda like the place you will find your lost drunk tío.

Santiago's is a quiet little place on Wible Rd. north of Ming Avenue. I think it must be more of a bar or have a late afternoon crowd, because when we stopped by for lunch at noon, we were the only people there. (It got more crowded quickly).The service is good. The lemonade is pretty strong. We spit the chili verde. I really like their sauce. Perhaps it could have been spicier. The salsa, guac, and chips were excellent.Our waiter was pleasant and efficient. This is a good place for a quick lunch to get out of the heat.

This restaurant has been around for a long time and I can tell why . It feels like a family run establishment warm and festively decorated for the holidays . The people inside are patient and kind , you can tell that they take pride in what they do. I ordered a lime margarita on the rocks and a chicken fajita salad. The margaritas come in several different flavors such as lime, peach , and watermelon. They're large and flavorful, while still being budget friendly. The Fajita salad was delicious. It had huge pieces of chicken, beans, lettuce and tomato all atop a tostada shell. This too, was budget friendly. I really enjoyed my time here. I can see myself visiting often .

My friends and I decided to come here for a late night drink. It was around 11 and they don't close until about 2. There were waves of people coming in and out. I would say it's more of an above 25+ style bar. You can control the music by paying on an app.The drink menu is small but they can make you anything you like! Which is great. I decided on a margarita blended and BOYY was it strong! Their chips and salsa are great.

Santiago's is a wonderful restaurant and now one of our favorites for Mexican food. We hadn't tried it for several years and then decided to on a whim when we were in that area. The service is the best we've had at a sit down restaurant in a while. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Constantly checking in to see if we needed anything else. The food was excellent, great flavors and a very large menu. The prices are a great value, especially with the excellent quality. Plus margaritas are great and only $5! The inside is a little dated, but don't let that dissuade you- the food and service is top notch. They have bar area, a smaller dining area and also a back area for larger groups.

Food: The food was actually pretty good, not bad food for the price you pay. I had the Fajita Burrito, good rice and beans.Service: Service was pretty poor despite the restaurant being mostly empty and us being the only ones there. Food took a while and the server was slow to come around. Atmosphere: The building needs some serious work, tables were wobbling back and forth and the lighting is pretty low and honestly depressing. Colors are bland. I went to the men's bathroom but the server stopped me and said I can use the women's restroom instead- I'm assuming the bathroom was pretty dirty because the door looked dirty already. Overall: Below Average experience, food was good but everything else is pretty poor.
