My husband and I went to the farm and was given the fullHistory about the business. Family owned and operated and it was nice to be able to learn some communities history. Great experience with my husband.

Ok people I never complain about a company, However this one is a MUST! This weekend our family went to the Santa Christmas Tree Forest like we always do after Thanksgiving. This has been our family tradition for more then 7 year now. The kids and I are always excited for that day. (If you know me you know!!!) They always have fun bouncing, zip lining, pet zoo and etc. We do the WHOLE deal when we are there! It's a special time. Couple years ago we had the privilege to meet the man who started it all. And he told us that it was family owed and he was fixing to give it to his kids to take over fully. Well, since then years have pass and we notice changes ..... nothing big nothing to complain about but more understanding as a business person. Last year we got our first sour taste when they made many changes. No Biggie! We wait all year for that day so we bought more tickets. The price double from previous years. No big problem. We actually had the privilege last year to talk to the daughter that was taking over marketing, etc. She told us that changes were made because it was getting over crowed and they had to put a plan together. So prices did reflect and line fences were built. We told her we understood and actually appreciated what the farm was trying to do ... "not become commercialized". We love the whole experience and didn't mind what others around us were saying. We LOVE the trees that they get from up north!THIS year was a DIFFERENT experience all together! First from arriving they build a fence line to enter... you now have to pay an entrance fee! There were no more tickets. I was told last year that if I had extra to keep them because you could use them for future years. This year you had to buy ALL or NOTHING regarding bounce pillow, zip line, horse and etc in addition to the cost of the tree and food. We decided ok we waited all year for this day let's not ruin it. So we proceed. While looking for our beautiful tree.... I notice something very different this year. There were tags on some trees that were not from the farm. I looked further into it and noticed that there were two tags on the tree. The tree was bought from HOME DEPOT and then re-tag with the farm tag which was up charged! We couldn't believe are eyes!!!!! All these years I thought I was getting something SPECIAL!! I understand all the trees come from up north but I just loved the ones they always have On one of their FB post, I mention that some of the trees where from Home Depot and I was curious to why? They deleted my post and sent me a "LOVELY" message. I would say that Santa Christmas Tree Farm is now more like a theme park and has become commercialized! I will never bring my family back after this year experience. The staff were rude which is understandable now from SCTF message. Don't get me wrong I did love this place and love the photo ops I feel sadden by all the changes that have happened this year! But extremely disappointed with their reply!! Here is some lovely pics...
