Santa Barbara Pizza & Chicken

Well this was disappointing!!!! I called to order dinner before the concert tonight. First off phone rang over 20 times before someone answered and put me on hold. Then finally someone answered to ask my order which I started giving only to be ignored. Not sure what was happening but having a cheerful person answering the phone could've gone a long way. We were told 50 minutes for the delivery. They called a hour later to confirm the order that should've already been delivered. The driver arrived who was really nice and apologized for the wait. We opened the box and the pizza was cold!!!! Too bad as I am sure they knew the pizza had been sitting for a long time before leaving.

When i went to pick up the customers service was great! They all said hello, very welcoming! The pizza had a good sauce but the pizza got cold fast and then kind of hard. My sister ordered the breadsticks and she wasn't a big fan of them, she said too much garlic. But we will come back to try other items on the menu just because they were so nice!

You can't ever go wrong with Santa Barbara Pizza. Their toppings are always fresh and plentiful. The pizza crust? Like little breadsticks baked to perfection. Our go-to is always the Tidal Wave (combination) pizza. Craving a salad? Then the Antipasto is the way to go. An absolute fan favorite in my household. Their service has always been quick when ordering for takeout. If you order online, just make sure to answer your phone as soon as you place the order. They typically call new customers to confirm you are indeed placing the order, especially since you can't pay until you pick up your order. (The online ordering system doesn't have that capability to accept online payment just yet).Even though this restaurant is in the heart of Oildale, it's worth the drive. They'll have my loyalty when it comes to pizza any day of the week!

Greek pizza. First time I've tried this pizza place. I enjoyed it. Very pleasant people working inside.

Good chicken better than my granny's kids loved the pizza and the prices weren't great but for the amount of food we got it was OK

They somehow don't have the concept down yet of what a double pepperoni, well-done means. We like the pepperoni where it's at its curling point, almost burnt. Each time we order it, we laugh because we're anticipating whether they got it right "this time" or not. My last order was for the same thing. Did I get it? Nope. Receipt showed I ordered a cheese pizza with extra pepperoni, well-done. Was there extra pepperoni? Nope. Was it well-done? Nope. Oh well. We keep ordering from Santa Barbara because their pizzas are actually decent. I really like their garlic cheese bread too. As simple as it may be, it just tastes really good. Hot wings aren't bad either. Always cooked just right and saturated with sauce. I'll give the salads a 3 out of 5. Sometimes the mix is a little dried out or the lettuce is old, and the tomatoes on the side are old also, but for the most part, when it's fresh it's fresh. Our delivery drivers are always prompt, friendly, and courteous. We seem to get the same two drivers for most of our orders, and they're both great. I gave them 4 stars because they do have good pizza and other stuff, but more so for the delivery drivers. If they'd work on getting those double pepperoni pizzas cooked "well-done" I'd likely give them 5 stars.

Cash register girl did not follow instructions when the delivery guy had to call me and get directions the second time shame on the cashier girl

The Tidal Wave pizza is awesome! Staff is always friendly and they always provide excellent customer service. If you order delivery they usually bring napkins, plates cheese and chili packets. The food arrives hot, freshly made and absolutely delicious!

Just ok pizza. The jalapeño cheese sticks were super yummy though! Those are worth it!

Were we ever craving Pizza but GOOD PIZZA. Something better than what we were getting here in the neighborhood. WE FOUND IT! YOU COULD SEE THE TOPPINGS { wasn't the kind most have}. Other places looked like all they'd do is Wave one slice of Pepperoni over theirs. But not this place. When we got it home and opened the box our mouths came to Attention. Then each grabbed a piece and WOW it tasted as good as it looked. Just got to thank "Oildale's " "SANTA BARBARA PIZZA "!!!!! My faith is RESTORED. You get an 'A+' that night for Sure.
