Pretty disappointed to give this place less than 4 stars. Sansei has been a staple for sushi in the area for several years. However, since covid, the service and experience has gone down in quality and does not look to be improving. The hours are insane and constantly changing. The same amount of hours distributed over the weekend would increase traffic. The combination of order at the counter / table service also makes for an uncomfortable dining experience. I haven't been able to visit in a few months due to their short hours, but the sushi has been consistently good and fresh every visit. I hope to visit again soon!

Delicious dinner. The O Bowl with sesame chicken. Probably my favorite dish from here. Everything was cooked perfectly. Also pictured is the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box. my guest said everything was good! Service was good. This is definitely a place to try!!

They changed up the seating and you also order up front before getting Seated. Try not to sit in the front because of traffic coming in and out and people just watching you eat. Great food. The green tea is trash though.

On July 25th instead of driving to Visalia we decided to come to Reedley to celebrate a family birthday. We have always loved Sansei but this visit was underwhelming. Since they do not have table side service anymore and have to order everything at the cash register the service wasn't as attentive as I remember it being. We order 2 Tarantula rolls, 1 Red Dragon, 1 Sansei Blossom, 2 orders of baked mussels, salmon belly nigiri and an order of Inari. The tarantula rolls tasted mainly of cream cheese and rice, you couldn't taste the soft shell crab. The baked mussels were over cooked which made them extremely chewy. It was also very frustrating that if you wanted another drink or an additional dish you had to get up from the table, wait in line, order and pay at the register. I'm sad to say this was not what I was expecting from a hometown restaurant that has always been good. We should've drove to Visalia

First of all, they never answer their phone!! It's inconvenient for mothers who have kids and just want to grab something fast for a pick up order. So I go in and make my order, just a poke bowl. I was told it would only take 15-20 mins-perfect. i came in before the rush happened. People who came in way after me are getting their food before me. I WAITED ALMOST AN HOUR FOR A POKE BOWL!! My 2 year old was sick of just sitting in the car and I have a 4 month old screaming ready to go home and eat too. I was fuming watching people coming in after me getting their food before me!! People coming in to pick up orders and getting theirs but they never answer their phone.. VERYYYYY UPSET.
