We have an older Subaru Forester that we purchased used. But we love it and try to take care of it. Subaru contacted us and let us know there was a recall on our airbag so my husband reached out to Nick at Sangera and he was great with him and accommodating with my husband's schedule....then here's where it gets better...we got our car home and my mom went to adjust the AC vent and it wasn't there...it had kinda fallen into the dash...it wasn't like that when we took it in...then I was driving around town and a client said you have a daylight running light out....what!!!! So I call them back again!!! Nick to the rescue...Ana took care of me when I arrived and between the two of them and the great techs we were back on the road all systems fixed...one was a lightbulb that decided it needed to burn out...they fixed it for us...even though they weren't to blame...and the other well we won't place blame because they took great care of us...in this day and age it's hard to find good customer care and I like to blast it when I receive it so here it is...this company is very customer oriented and I will come back. One star for the service adviser who really care but has limitations as per the instructions given . I was there for my car key not working fully and it was not locking the doors. I was quoted a price for check up with the statement that the coast will go towards repair . I bought the key last September which means it was under warranty period. So they told me there is water on your key so that is why it is not working but then why 2/3 functions were working ? I paid for the new key under the impression that this is the final bill but I was so wrong and they added another 179 dollar for the dignostic . Really how much money you want from your customers ? Why not help your long time customer who bought a new key last September paying over 400 dollars ? Why not at least try to get the key replaced or make it clear that you will have to pay more despite being told that the diagnostic cost will go towards repairs ? I am really very disappointed and I know it is not going to change a bit in their business principles. But I am not going there any more I am so glad I bought Lexsus instead of Mercedes. Really disappointed. The service adviser is one of the best I have seen at many places & feel bad she has to go through unhappy customers like me everyday .

This was the worst experience I've had at *any * dealership. As an out of town traveler, they didn't have the courtesy, or class, denoting a Mercedes dealership, to provide a Lyft to a hotel that was literally about 2 miles down the road (as this was an overnight repair). Even the Lyft driver was shocked that I had to order the vehicle myself, as all the other dealerships have the decency to get one for the customer.I don't foresee the need to ever return to that dealership, and if I were to breakdown in Bakersfield again, I'd rather contact another automotive shop.

I was traveling through Bakersfield (from out of state) on my way to Sacramento when suddenly my check engine light came on and it started running rough. I called Sangera Bakersfield, and they told me to bring it in immediately, which I did.Turns out I had a bad cylinder, which is major (12-hour job), and could not finish my trip. However, I HAD to be in Sacramento that night, but my car could not be repaired until 48 hours later. My service advisor, Jarred, brought in the service manager, Bill Smith, who was amazingly friendly and a problem solver. He went ABOVE & BEYOND to get me a loaner and also arranged to have someone meet me more than halfway (to Sacramento) to swap out cars. I don't know of any other dealership that would have done that! I bought my Mercedes in N. CA, but I will consider buying my next one from Sangera Bankersfield becasue of this experience. Jarred and Bill - Thank you so much for eleviating huge stress during my travels. You don't get customer service like that anymore, but you do at Sangera Mercedes!

The worst service ive had from anyone ive taken my car to. The service advisor Irene looked to be having a bad day and no help at all. quoted me a very high price for my vehicle but assured me that I had a warranty so that was just the cost for repair if the warranty didn't cover. She never mentioned the I would have to pay a diagnostic fee or $189 for each item looked at. I explained that usually a diagnostic is to check everything in relation to the issue and since it was electrical that system should be covered but nope. I then spoke with the service manager Brian who also said that the fees were correct and since the warranty only covered 1 item because the others weren't made by Subaru. I told her a regular customer wouldn't know where each component is made and that a warranty for a vehicle is just that, a warranty for the vehicle to be repaired. After a bit of back and fourth he said he could only give me a 20% discount because I'm not a everyday customer which I explained I haven't had any issues with my vehicle, why would I pay to go in? I told him ive bought two vehicles from them and was getting ready to trade in for a 3rd. He said well that's all he can do since I wasn't an everyday customer. I had to pay $400 from my repair with warranty which was for the diagnostics and the $100 deductible, makes absolutely no sense. It's like buying a warranty for the tv and the warranty not covering the screen because that tv company didn't make it. Please don't ever do business with them and if you do make sure to get what the warranty will cover in writing because that is so crooked to do business like that, especially from a so called supervisor with no people skills.
