Today we tried the new food truck in Tehachapi (Golden Hills) Taste of India and it was so good. I can't eat curry (hubby loves it). They were really accommodating, telling me all the things they could make for me without curry. Really nice guys. We got Lemon Chicken with rice and they put the curry sauce on the side for me, Curry Chicken with rice, a chicken wrap and a side of yogurt sauce. The chicken practically melts in your mouth. The rice has a great garlic butter flavor. The naan is more like a pita but it's a high quality pita lol really good too. They are out of Bakersfield but one of the guys wife works here in Tehachapi. They said that they plan on staying as long as business is good. We will be going back for sure!

Went here years ago. Showed up on my Yelp recommendations. If you've never had Indian food before having food here, you would consider this to be the real thing. It's far from it. It's the most flavorless food I've ever had. It was like eating cardboard. Didn't taste even 1 Indian spice, no salt, no pepper, absolutely 0 real Indian flavors. Took over 45 min to get my food. As far as ambiance, it's a food truck, no real ambiance to rant and rave about. 1 plus, owner was really cool. That's about it. Don't go here if you want real Indian food. This is like going to Taco Bell for real Mexican food. Never again.

We had the most delicious samosa appetizer and chicken curry on our drive up to the Bay Area a few weeks ago. Sandhu, the owner, was gracious and served generous portions. He just launched his family owned food truck business after 2 years of intensive chef training. Definitely check it out. We found him next to the Chevron Station. I believe it is exit 244 in the I-5.

Really delicious food from this food truck. I had the beef kabob wrap. The wrap itself was warm, soft, chewy and flavorful, the beef perfectly seasoned, 2 delicious sauces and mandolin-sliced vegetables made for a perfect bite each and every time. I'm impressed and can't wait to try the other menu items. I'd love some a la carte choices as well; especially for the samosas, French fries and naan.

OMG, I just ate an authentic Indian meal. Oh my, it was delicious. Just the right amount of heat (spicy) for me. Enough food that I have some left over for my dinner tomorrow. Something for everyone. Meat dishes as well as vegetarian. Food truck is located at Wild Rose, Monday thru Friday.
