Sam's Halal Market & Restaurant

It's not a fancy place, just a few tables in what's basically a little store, but if you want authentic Pakistani food, and I recommend it, this is the place. I had a Pakistani chicken stew, with rice, and it was fantastic. One warning, though. If you don't like hot, spicy food, let them know, or you will get some very spicy food. Let them know, and they'll take care of you. If you DO like spicy food, , like me, they've got you covered.

Amazing food and service! My wife and I were unsure on what to order but the guy at the counter broke down the entire menu. We got the kebob and some sort of meat in gravy. The meat in gravy was tender and complimented the garlic Naan bread perfectly. The kebob was spicy but had amazing flavor and texture. We will be back when we need to scratch that spice itch!

This used to be Sam's Halal Market. It is now under NEW OWNERSHIP and it is now called Khan's Halal Market & Restaurant. They have a Zabiha halal butcher shop inside, halal grocery items, halal frozen food, and many Indian goodies and groceries. There is also a restaurant that just opened up. They offer complimentary chai(it was yummy, has a cardamom taste to it). The garlic naan is big and amazingly delicious! The Nihari was okay, it was a bit bland for my taste(I like more Masala & an overall spicier taste, but my friend loved it), the Chana daal was so comforting and flavorful, the chicken kabob had a wonderful mix of flavors. They will soon start selling traditional Pakistani breakfast on Weekends. I am excited to try that and be a customer for years to come. The family is very welcoming, jolly, and kind. They treat you like family and always greet you with a smile. I wish them all the best!

I can't tell what I like more, the ambiance, or the decor. It was both, including the amazing hospitality and food made from the owner. I've driven past this restaurant multiple times, but just never had the chance to step inside. That all changed today when I suddenly made a left turn coming down Stine and ended up in the parking lot of Sam's Halal Market and Restaurant. I walked inside and was immediately greeted and given a rundown of their menu. I could already tell from the bat that this guy knew exactly what he was talking about. after asking about the menu items, I suggested the chicken over rice, and I trusted my instincts and trusted this man to give me his best. And I was given the world. The chicken was charred to perfection and with the soft rice underneath and the salad to accompany the dish, why would I bother going anywhere else? You shouldn't bother going anywhere else but Sam's Halal Market and Restaurant, only a month in business and already laying down vital fundamentals for a successful and thriving business!

First time here and it was a great experience! We ordered a variety of dishes. With the help of the amazing nice lady attending us we decided on the beef nihari, tikka chicken, and falafel. It was very relaxing and calm while waiting for our dishes but when our food arrived it was pure excitement and joy by the staff. I highly recommend to give it a try, they would make sure you keep coming back.

Very great/high quality food! I started with the beef kabob and lamb kabob. Very excited to come back and try more! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. It feels like being in an authentic corner market with great food and a good selection of imports in their inventory. The food will take a while to make as it is fresh and from scratch, but it's most definitely worth it. I recommend setting time aside to try this place out!

Fantastic food and great service. It's family owned business...new owner has amazing halal food from gyros to nihari halwa puri... All the yummy desi food...
