If you are up in the Posey area for camping, this is a great out of the way stop for a meal. Service is great and the people are friendly. One note, remember to bring cash.

Soooo delicious! Spending the Fourth up here in the mountains and we hoped for good food.... I wanted a simple grilled cheese with okra and squash. Everything was stunningly well done! Someone's moms must be doing this made to order cooking. The rest of my party ordered ribeye steaks and said it was amazing. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

My lovely wife and I came here for lunch recently and it was amazing. I had the tri-tip steak sandwich with freedom fries and an iced tea. My wife had the chicken fried steak meal with fried okra and iced tea. Everything was prepared perfectly and served to us piping hot. The iced tea was perfect. I must've drank my own weight. Lol.

Arrived here on a motorcycle run and the place was packed. Limited seating inside but they have a huge patio. Ordered an Ortega burger but got a blue cheese burger. Was starving so I did not send it back. Food was great. Service was awesome for having 100's of hungry bikers. Bar is small but the service is great.

Came here with some buddies on a Saturday morning after cruising up in our sportscars. Pretty good breakfast. Cool atmosphere. I am planning on coming back at some point to get a steak which I understand is quite good here

This is one great spot for a burger. It's rustic and ranch-y and all around cool. The 155 burger should not be missed - burger with smoked bacon, onion ring, Swiss cheese and a tangy BBQ sauce- super good. If you're on your way up or down the mountain, definitely stop for lunch!

Had a great 155 Burger there Nov. 16, 2019. Will definitely stop at Saddle Sore next time I'm in the area. If you're a "Road Scholar" Hwy 155 is a must ride but take it easy bc there's little margin for error and the dualie pickups and livestock trailers tend to scatter gravel in the tight turns. Hey 155 pavement also in excellent condition and almost no traffic but also double yellow no passing the entire length once you get into the mountain section.
