I was skeptical when my friends told me this place was good. They set up extra tables and chairs for our group and they take your order at the window and you pay after. It's basically inside a little market and you grab whatever you want to drink from the market area and sit with it. I got the cheese enchiladas and cleaned the whole plate they were so yummy! This is the type of meal you crave and want again and again. Their green salsa is also good. I'm not a fan of how they do their nachos with that fake cheese stuff but I didn't order them I just saw them otherwise they seemed popular.

Super great food!It may take a little while to make, but just the smells are worth the wait! Ridiculously cheap tacos at $1.50 each. Heck, even the fries were cooked perfectly.¡Muy bueno!

Hidden gem. Delicious Mexican food. Market with great selection. People are so nice. Nice alternative to Longstreet Inn Cafe if you are looking for some variety and is 5 miles away.

My boyfriend and I were starving and found this place on google maps. It was the most amazing Mexican food I've ever had. All salsas are handmade from scratch and to die for. All ingredients in my torta and my boyfriend's enchiladas were fresh and delicious! They also make micheladas, which we had to try too and were not disappointed. Besides Mexican food, they have some American food like hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken salad. If you're ever near Death Valley definitely worth grabbing a quick bite here :)

Decent for what's available.Taquitos are dry,Burritos have no flavor even with salsa,Torta meat is chewy,no turkey sausage available only pork when it comes to breakfast,they don't wear gloves or hair nets, the cheese burgers and fries are the best.Their nachos are good too.

My husband and I visited Death Valley in December 2016 and stayed at the Longstreet Inn & Casino one night. When it's time for dinner, we opened Yelp and quickly realized that there weren't many options; we were kind of in the middle of nowhere. The Ruby Restaurant was almost the only one open at the day and time and affordable to us, so we decided to try.It was very easy to miss this place. It is REALLY in the middle of nowhere. We went in; it was like a pretty old convenience store that can use some modernization. This small diner was inside this convenience store. We ordered burritos and quesadillas and tortilla chips. The food was very nicely made. The chips and the salsa were really really good. Most important of all, it was really not just about food. It was a really interesting and unique experience for us to happen to be at that place at that time in Death Valley, enjoying home cooked Mexican meals with howling wind and starry night outside.

Excellent service and really good food. Not sure how authentic enchiladas are supposed to be served but they did not have any sauce so they were a bit dry but otherwise very tasty! My husband have a few tacos and the meat was excellent.

This place is fantastic! Amazingly fresh, authentic Mexican food. The cook was really nice and answered all of our questions about the area. We will definitely be back!

Zero stars if it was an option. Worst service in Nevada. They have zero respect for religious beliefs & exemptions. They also do not know the laws in Nevada & lie about the laws only to favor themselves & their store , they will tell you to leave if you challenge them or say that it wrong & unfair to treat other like this in USA Nevada. The store manager will not let you pay outside or order outside either if you medically can't wear a mask like myself. Never coming back for anything ever.

Such great food here! A family member lives in the area and whenever I visit I make sure to stop by Ruby's for their to die food, the tortas are my absolute favorite. However, today I decided to try something different so I ordered enchiladas and flautas, both really delicious with an authentic Mexican flavor and really fresh ingredients! If you love Mexican food you must try this place!!!
