Ruben's Mexican & Seafood Restaurant

The food is pretty good, prices are fair and service isn't the best, but adequate. I go here often with my best friend. We like getting margaritas and fajitas. Sometimes we'll have a really excellent server that's friendly and helpful and then sometimes we have a server that we have a hard time getting back to our table to refill drinks. The restaurant is always clean. I like the decor.

Tonight we came to join some friends and we were skeptical because of the last two times we treated there.. We did want to come, But our friends were there and they like this place and they're Hispanic we are not and it's obvious the bartender does not want to treat us with the same.. Tonight was so bad and we're not mean people we're not impatient people. This was bad really really bad. We have a business and most of our customers are Hispanic, and we would never have treated any of our customers this bad. We will never be back again, even though we love of spending time with our friends we will never go back again. Hey bartender we employ 15 Hispanic people in our business and we love them and they are our family.

Went late at night craving Mexican food, wasn't disappointed! Delicious food, probably the cheapest (and nicest for the price) fajita in town I could get. Service was a tad slow, however it was a busy night! Football and all. Warm and a bit loud as it was connected to a bar I believe? Still a wonderful bite especially for the night I came.

my friend kendal, her dad, and i went out to lunch here and we had a wonderful experience. first of all the service is outstanding, the workers are constantly walking around and helping every table out even if it wasn't their own. each staff member was so friendly and they went above and beyond. they give you chips with salsa and bean dip at the beginning of the meal. kendal and i ordered the lunch special of chicken fajitas. they were soooooo good, i 10/10 recommend them. they come served on this hot, sizzling platter along with tortillas and a plate of rice, guacamole, pico de gallo, and beaans. kendal said they were scrumptious, the chicken was very juicy. she noted how they got the food out very very quickly :) the ambiance was nice. the restaurant has nice interior that makes it a fun and comfortable environment. this is a great spot for a great meal.

Always amazing food & service. Our favorite is the bean dip during the week & the brunch buffet on Sundays.

Underwhelming still, my fajitas were burnt but the chips and salsa were good. It's average Mexican food and nothing to write home about. The waiter was ok but the food was lacked heart. The chili verde and rojo were not bad.

Rubens Buffet is always on point.. the Menudo is the best in town. .. the chile verde is also fire !! The service is fantastic. I always see the same people when I sit in the bar . It's a hidden gem. I take my kids on the weekend. Beer is always cold!! We love Ruben's ... been going since it was on Union Ave 20 years ago..

Good food, prices, and portions. Whenever I'm craving Mexican food I'll usually stop in here due to consistency. Beer is always cold and they don't over charge either.I can't really speak on the service table side because I sit at the bar and I'm always tended to.
