Service was excellent. The waitress was really sweet but needs to learn what real Italian sauces taste like so she can explain how these are different. The calamari was made from steaks instead of rings but were fried to perfection and served with a generous portion of marinara to dip in.I had the lamb special and was happy to see a whole rack, cooked to perfection. I ordered the penne with a putanesca sauce. I swear my face started melting off. Instead of a nice, salty marinara with olives, capers, and anchovies with a hint of red pepper, I got a marinara made with habaneros. Even after cutting it with the remaining marinara from the calamari, it was inedible. My partner had the tortellini with meat sauce and said that it was okay, but nothing special. The restaurant is also quite noisy, so don't come here expecting a quiet dinner. Olive Garden is quieter. For $117 for two, I certainly could have had a better meal. The waitress was really great, though!

This place was amazing. For a semi-busy Tuesday night. I didn't reserve a table, but able to get a table for three in under 15 minutes. The place was a bit small, but I like the ambiance to it. If you have enough time to dine, I recommend to dine instead. Our server, Luigi, is phenomenal and paid great attention to our table. The food is great for Visalia. Honestly, big portions, but more to share and take home :D The bread they start off with in the beginning, incredible (I heard they make it fresh each day). I notice they do not include the bread when you take out, so even a more reason to dine in person. Lastly, I got the seafood fettuccine, but I thought the shrimp were going to be the regular sized shrimp and not the itty bitty ones.

Nice servers. Can't say much for the food - except I really enjoyed the clam chowder. The "cup" of chowder will easily feed 2 people. I enjoyed the Silver Gate Cab after returning the Bella....Chianti. It was awful. My husband asked for 2 other types and they were out of them. I tried the Loui's Trio...nothing was worth returning for. Chicken fettuccine didn't have even a half of a breast plus the sauce was bland. So, we were sad it didn't work out for our taste buds. Ambiance is nice.

The restaurant has a nice, relaxing atmosphere, and the service was very fast! I got the spaghetti alla puttanesca (my favorite Italian dish) and, like the other reviews say, it is VERY spicy. Not too spicy to enjoy it, and you can still taste the ingredients, but definitely order something else if you are sensitive to spice! My wife got a small pizza and said it was really good. They did add a LOT of sauce on it, so if that's not your thing, beware. They also have huge portions, so their prices are very reasonable.

Rosa's has been my dinner spot in Visalia the past couple of trips there. I've never eaten there as all my visits have been takeout. Ordering is easy. You either call them or you use their Toasttab website. Service has been good every time I showed up. I normally show up earlier than their quoted time, and the food is normally ready early. My wife likes their spaghetti clams in a white sauce. I'm always ordering their spaghetti with a meat sauce. Their sauce is on the acidic side. I will have to try a different sauce on my next visit. Their portions are generously large. Along with the meal comes bread and butter. Rosa's is a good place for generous portions of pasta.

Service was prompt. Food was okay, my bf ordered steak 75% of it was fat I ordered the seafood fettuccine was suppose to have shrimp, clams and crab disappointed to only see baby shrimp, prices typical. Overall 6/10

We are here just for one night in Visalia and we're so happy to have found this restaurant. All of food was delicious! The warm freshly baked bread was great. We followed that with garden salads and chicken parmigiana and shrimp fettuccine and topped it off with the Argentine salted caramel gelato. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. If you're a local pay them a visit!
