On our way to Yosemite but wanted to stop and eat some breakfast. So glad we stopped here! The chilaquiles were so good!! They were crunchy and had a kick to them . The horchata was really good too! Would drive 2/3 hours to eat here again

Best service, delicious, clean and colorful. We were treated with the most humble, kindness and hospitality. Plates presentation at the best. It was an experience for life and will go back for sure. Thank you for your passion at what you do Rosa Silvestre!

Great service, great food! We loved the food and service so much we went back two days in a row. We ordered carne asada tacos, quesbirrias, pupusas, and Caldo de res. Everything was delicious, but our favorite were the carne asada tacos with the handmade tortillas, which are big size tacos. The meat was so flavorful and delicious, we couldn't get enough. Next time we're in the area, we already know we're going there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for tacos!

Excellent! Like others, I was driving on the 99 and stumbled across this place. Oh my goodness- the food is authentic and delicious. My mom ordered the pozole, the jamaica drink (hibiscus) and I ordered the caldo de res. We received homemade corn tortillas. My mom who makes an excellent pozole found this pozole to meet her standards. The restaurant is nicely decorated with beautiful colors and very clean. It is named after the family matriarch- Rosa Silvestre. A self portrait of this beautiful woman adorns the restaurant wall. Don't hesitate- stop and eat some delicious food, and drive around the neighborhood.

Great Food! Really very cool stop on way up 99. We stopped because we just loved the movie made about this little town. Really a great movie and true story especially in todays age when there is so much emphasis on differences in humanity in negative ways. It was an honor to visit this town and restaurant as consider the great culture and evidence of excellence when you put your heart into it. The restaurant was quaint and unassuming, the food was really excellent. I encourage you, stop by. After make a stop at the original store next door that was very much featured in the film. People were welcoming and just going about their business. Great stop.

I would highly recommend this unassuming place off the 99 freeway. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The staff were very nice and were very busy. The building was very small and cute. I can't wait till we pass through there again.

Everything I've trained has been delicious: albóndigas, caldo de res, pupusas, tacos, tortas...it's all wonderful and flavorful. The service is great, the decor is vibrant and colorful. A great place for traditional Mexican food.

This place was definitely a place I would come back to again and again. Their meat is well seasoned, well cooked, great service. I had an asada quesadilla and my husband had tacos de cabeza and pastor and asada he really enjoyed them!! Absolutely give this place a try!!

OMG, food was exceptional. We stopped in on a referral.best decision on Mexican food. Very authentic. We bought pastor tacos. They were overflowing with meat. Tender and delicious. We also bought ranchero eggs. Sauce was delish and eggs cooked to perfection. I'm coming back next weekend. Great service. Great atmosphere. People who care about their customers and the food they're making.
