I wish I could add a half star because 3 is too low, yet it doesn't quite make it to 4 stars.My family and I went excited for the Family Night offered, to try something new with our children.It was our first time, and both the inside and outside were a little run down. I was happy to see there was a police there to secure the parking lot.The crowd that was attracted to "family night" hardly fit the category, it looked more like "discount night." But everyone kept to their own for the most part and cooperated smoothly on the roller rink, so I had no concerns.The music was also not very family oriented.Near the end the music was toned down a bit and I saw a few more families arriving with small children which was nice to see.The staff were also very friendly and helpful.We didn't try the small arcade or any food/snacks they also sell, so I can't review those.But based off the helpful staff and our children enjoying roller skating, we will be back. Hopefully the music is a little more family friendly.

We've had multiple birthdays at this location over the years, and we always had a great time. The staff is amazing, the rink is great, and they had security for the parking lot. Great job you guys keep it up.

First outing here in Bakersfield with the kids. Staff was welcoming and helpful. I LOVED that they put the safety of their guest first by having awesome security. Very friendly staff, good music. Overall, we had a GREAT first-time experience. Thank you to the staff for making it FUN!

This is so scary and they should not have a pot of something boiling hot anywhere NEAR WHERE A NEW SKATER could bump into it and have it spill on them. We went during the day. Not to busy so it wasn't packed. The lights where on most of the time.

Kevin,Give 34th. more of a chance. Its floor is so much better than Brimhall. I wish you would put more love into 34th. Why not rip the carpet out and have flooring like Brimhall. Turn the carpet wall into a brick wall like West. It makes me sad. We are talking generations of families skating there at 34th., including yours. Please consider all the memories that were made in that building and update 34th. People will come if you give it love and attention it deserves.

Even though this establishment is closed to the public due to Covid-19 restrictions, we were able to rent for 3 hours for a private 70s theme birthday party for my daughters 21st. It was so much fun. It reminded me of my childhood days. From the Hokey Pokey to the limbo. Definitely a good memorable time. Thank you Shelly for allowing us to celebrate and reminisce our youth. You guys rock!!

It suck if u pay to come on the weekend for a birthday party and come for the experience of skating with ur kids tell how cool this place and they didn't even do one game or dance they said there wasn't enough people but it doesn't take any thing for them to put the lights on and do just fun skate song if u skate u know what I'm take about .how about limbo would been fun or the races with help skate or no help skate or even dj suck the machines false advertising two for A stupid crappie flash light that was even close what the picture is there is one thing I know Shellie was a way better manager then this lazy manager I wouldn't suggest this for that good experience of skating go to skateland way better managerment...

Took the family there last week, we had a great time. Prices were awesome, the staff was friendly! My kids had a blast we plan on going back again

I brought my family to this establishment last Wednesday and will not be returning. First of all this is not a safe family environment. I noticed people walking around with alcohol. The music is completely inappropriate. Any time you need something from the concession you have to walk up to the front to get the girl that's running it. The only person that was worth any help was the gentleman giving out skates. When i asked about the music i was pointed to a gentleman up front wearing a polo and backwards hat. The gentleman was completely unprofessional when asked about the music and said "he would see what he could do" and was on his phone for most of the night. Who is running this place ? seriously don't recommend coming here

the dj just totally takes the vibe out of skating!!! wish you could hea what having to listen too , me and my family won't be back!!! how I wish for rollertown or the 80's
