Rocket Fizz

This shop brought me back to the yesteryear of sodas and candies I enjoyed as a youth. They have those hard-to-find brands that you don't see in your everyday grocery store.

Exciting for a first time visit. My sister wanted to come check it out due to hearing that there's candy from 60's and to our surprise that wasn't the case. The employees were discussing personal matters and playing high 5 games... but we continued to shop. Won't be back however it was fun to browse!!

This store spells nostalgia and going in there takes you back in time. I love how they have their little Asian corner with Sanrio candies and their spicy noodles (Remember those spicy noodle challenges? Lol). Staff are nice and friendly, too. Sweet tooth or not, a fun place to visit and brush up on candy history.

This place.. Oh my! So much happiness in this little shop. Sweet candy, sour candy, chocolate candy, honey candy, caramel candy.. From the signs on the walls to the candy and sodas, everything about this shop makes me happy. I go in about once every 3 weeks to refill my stash. The staff is always super nice and welcoming.Go get some sweets. Go now. You will not regret the visit.

This is a great store for children and their parents. It's close to Edwards Cinema so the kids can go buy the candies they want. I took my grandzon and he found hands and feet and pickle hands. Lots of Astro bomb pops and candy bars and novelty candy plus bins of bulk candy. They have all kinds of soda pop in new and different flavors. I should have picked up a apple pie drink as I can't stop thinking about it. Do yourself a favor and go here and find some crazy good candy and drinks. They are very friendly and helpful also.

I am a Rocket Fizz fanatic! Imagine my surprise when I discovered that we had one here in Bakersfield that had been open for quite a while and I didn't even know it existed, from frustration to overwhelming joy as I rushed down and went inside I was back in my happy place. I've travelled to Visalia and SLO to hit up Rocket Fizz in the past and now I have one here a mere few minutes from home. The staff is very friendly, welcoming you when you enter and offering to help you find anything you're looking for but any true Rocket Fizz lover knows that it's not about coming in looking for one thing it's about the journey to find what it is you want that day lol. I love walking around checking out all the options before finally settling on a few treats. Last visit I finally tried a Flaming Moe energy drinks which had been on my list for a while as well as some Sarsaparillas because I love them and a few Japanese treats. I'll be a frequent customer, I'm happy and my bank account is sad.

I had so much fun visiting this cute family owned candy shop. They have everything you could imagine. I'm a huge Hello Kitty fan and it was exciting to see such a wide variety of candy and merchandise. Customer service was excellent, I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

I loved the variety, all the nostalgia. I got some drinks about 3 of them including the peanut butter and jelly. I didnt like it, i was expecting more. My son got an horchata soda and also didnt taste good. All the candy was great! But left spending about $80 worth.

I pass by the place every day or so but never went in until last Wednesday. The girl that worked there, I think her name was layle, was incredibly kind and helped me pick out the best candy I've ever had. She deserves a raise if she is Isnt already the manager! I'll definitely be coming back here. If the other employees are even half as sharp as she was, this place will last forever!

I love this place! They have so many different varieties of candies to choose from. They have chocolate giant gummy's and much more! I recommend coming here!
