Robby's Nursery & Calico Gardens

This is truly a hidden gem which is what makes it that much more special. I'd say plan on spending at least 30 minutes or more exploring the various areas. Walking through the nursery will definitely restore your inner peace and tranquility. The store has seasonal decorations, indoor plants, plant care items, and more. The staff I encountered offered their knowledge, expertise, and love for gardening. I bought a few succulents and a decorative pot. I plan on visiting during the different seasons to see how the variety of plants change. Feel good supporting a local business.

My gratitude doesn't even begin to cover the how much I adore this adorable nursery. I recall a very wonderful time when my mother and I would venture to Robby's and wander the property.Time and property lines have changed, but the fantastic customer service has not.I highly recommend Robby's for a knowledgeable place to start and finish any gardening project.Need a special gift? Very very big and many different types of plants there is a big variety they had many saplings, bonsai, succulents, flowers, etc. I went and was amazed by how big it was. Staff was very nice and kept asking if I was finding everything I needed. They had a couple cats too that were also nice and friendly. I found a lot of different plants that I wanted, will be going back!

A friend of mine popped my cherry taking me to this hidden gem. The location sort of sucks since it's hard to navigate how to get there but it is worth it! A lot of people say that nurseries are a bit more pricey than Home Depot or Lowe's but you me the fact that they have exactly what you're looking for makes the few extra bucks completely worth it. I'm a succulent lover and they have a great selection and they have a few pieces that are in pots that if you don't want the exact piece, they explain and show you how and where to find what you want. I guess I just love when staff has the know all to help and guide you to what you like. The added bonus is the place is like a park. My kids love the sitting area and the donkey! I can never go without them thanks to that donkey!If you're looking for a place with friendly staff, that know what they're talking about, then this is the place for you!

I came to the nursery to get some ideas for a small plant bed in front of my house approximately 10x14 area. I asked for help and KATHY assisted me. She was as helpful as a rock. she is suppose to be an expert amd i come for help. She seemed disinterested helping me. She kept asking me for measurements i gave her the general measurements and ahe just stood there and said any of these back here would be good. i was like i am kind layering this which plant are good for ground cover that may bloom etc . she just gave general answers and i looked at her and i said, seems like you and me arent working out very together and she says ok and begins walking away. crazy. she is as just horrible!

My little girl and I showed up as they were closing (unknowingly). They were SO HELPFUL, loaded my soil for me, and didn't rush us at all!! So thankful for a nursery with great selection and OUTSTANDING customer service!!

I lost a specific plant during this awful heat wave. I called several nurseries looking for that specific plant. Nobody had it but Robbies! When I came to purchase it, it was waiting for me near the checkout. Yay! Great service, and friendly people! Will def shop there again!

This is a lovely nursery. Everyone was friendly and I was asked multiple times if I was finding what I needed. Super soothing and fun to stroll around, they even had bonsai, pond plants and hard to find house plants.

This nursery is great. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere and there are cats everywhere! I usually go to Bolles nursery but Robby's will have things that they don't have and vise versa. It's a nice spot away from businesses and has lots of variety.I have never seen many nurseries sell things like artichoke plants or purple bell pepper plants.The vegetable 6-packs they have are also a bargain. I picked up a Fresno pepper 6-pack but the size they were, most nurseries would have transplanted into 4" pots and sold them as single units, but Robby's kept them all in a 6-pack for $4.50 which is a bargain!

The house plants don't look healthy, leaves are drying. I didn't find nice looking plant not even one.
