Riverside Grill

Been coming up to the Kern for 37 years. First time I was 4, lol. Haven't tried this place until this trip. So, though my review is poor. I Walt's feel like people should try for themselves. Let's get to it._Cold over Salty Chili._Cold Chowder._Sent both back, chili came back like warm this time, chowder was still ice cold. Fish and chips came cold but I didn't have the heart to send that back as well._Mac-n-cheese was good. Do not opt. for Lobster in it, because the only two pieces we found (in this very large dish) were two smaller than a pinky nail, nail thing slivers. I appreciate the woman apologizing for the cold food. But to be honest, I won't even try it a second time. But remember taking a trip into a new town is all about the experience whether good or bad it is an experience have fun no matter what. God bless y'all.

The food is fresh and delicious, no matter what you order. The Poke bowl is personal favorite, but the burgers are also amazing and the salads are fresh. Don't forget to grab an ice cream or shake on your way out - they also have a walk up window if you don't want to sit inside. This place is a local favorite, and is also run by kernville locals who have done a lot for the community. The food, the atmosphere, and the community are all top notch. You don't want to miss out on this place!

Chefs kiss, everything is fresh which isn't something you see much anymore! Clean, with cute decor. Top notch friendly service. Listen y'all, when my kids reminisce about a meal you know it was nothing short of excellent. That Lobster Mac will make you completely ignore lactose intolerance. Love everything we've had Can't wait to come back and visit, wish we had your wonderful establishment at home in TX.

Very neat and clean with good service! The menu is delightfully full of surprises! We chose the Poke bowl and the Gauntlet burger. The burger was good and the choice of tots instead of fries made it more fun. My poke bowl was a flavor explosion with a huge variety of fresh tasting ingredients! The prices were very reasonable, too! Just go!

Food was amazing, and the place is very clean (kind of a big deal to me after working in various restaurants for several years). The server was incredible, very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos, and my husband the Wagyu tacos. Both were amazing!!! Fries and tots were obviously fresh, and absolutely delicious. We don't get out here as often as we would like, but will definitely stop in here any time we do. Highly recommended!!! Sad we didn't take pictures of the food before we dug into it, but it was beautifully plated!

Thank goodness we now have an amazing establishment near the river! This restaurant is a must get your grub on when visiting Kernville!

The food we received was not that great. They use the beer cheese sauce from the pretzels and cheese appetizer on the mac & cheese and the cheese was curdled. Yucky

Menu is diverse and delicious. Everything my husband and I have eaten has been a 10. Highly recommended . Service is terrific !!!

Loved it! Great service and good food. It was a nice cool calm place to sit on a hot day. I recommend the curve sandwich and the local salad.

Flavor was great but chicken was dry , service was okay, not rude but chicken was hard to swallow very dry .
