Redwood Taphouse

I like to thank Benito and Oscar and staff for stepping up today with their service and allowing me to take back my last review I left last week about them. My family and myself had lunch with them today and the food was great and the service was outstanding. Thank you Eagle mountain Management for stepping up and not losing a customer.

We had a pretty good experience here. One of the waiters went out of his way to contact IT to get the basketball game we wanted on TV! The service is a little slow, but our food tasted great. I got the tri tip baked potato and it was amazing; I especially loved the garlic flavoring. The decor is nice, though the table setup is weird and makes it feel empty in half of the tap house.

Oh where do I begin...Get. It. Together!Service- AwfulFood-AbismalDrinks-We wouldn't know since you call yourself a "taphouse" and yet, had NO beer list to show what was on tap.Our server was unattentive, unethusiastic and was very unhelpful. We came in for a beer and some food after playing in the casino. Only a few tables were occupied and we asked for a cocktail and beer menu, we were told "we don't have one because we are out or the majority of the beers." What? LolWhat kind of response is that? How do we know what to order? Isn't this a beer taphouse?...so weird. We tried to order jalapeno cheddar cornbread as a starter...she came back with "were out"Ordered Mexican street corn instead...full corn on the cob and by the time we got a knife to cut it, it was ice cold. Pretty unflavored and corn tasted old.Tried the queso & chips....queso had a weird film over the top and was "ok"I had the lone pine burger and asked for a side of "fry sauce"....was told that was out as wellFries were bland, over cooked and not good. Mac n cheese was "ok" after adding salt and pepper. The burger was dry, had zero sauce or condiments on it (was supposed to come with bbq sauce). Patty tasted frozen, was overall awful. I didn't eat really anything I ordered, it was all so underwhelming. Bad service, bad food, don't know what they offer for drinks..don't think we will EVER be back.

Did you know that music and good food go hand in hand? Our band had an amazing time playing at the Redwood Taphouse Saturday, and let me tell you, the food there was on point!

Adonai the manager and Meriam our server made our night! They were so kind and really on top of things. We went straight for our food hahaha that's why it's half eaten but I highly recommend getting the ribeye or any of the burgers they're so delicious the sweet potato fries here are the best sweet potato fries you'll ever get anywhere and the mac & cheese really wheat. Everybody loves a mac & cheese. We saw a table get five mac & cheese. Just because the mac & cheese was so good.Adonai!! Congratulations on your marriage in October you are welcome to the islands anytime!!!

Please was nice, clean and no wait when I went. TV all had different games on and weren't too loud. Food was actually really good and on point. Only complain was the wait. Seemed like a really long time after ordering that it took to come out. I get it, good food takes time, but this was almost over the top for food that's already cooked. Also the rice pilaf had a strange off taste to it. Like maybe took on a flavor from the pot it was cooked on. Not horrible but not great either. I would def come back and hope the wait for food is not as bad. Otherwise a good place and food was good.

This place was busy since they did have a car show outside but besides the wait to be seated the whole experience was terrible. The food was dry bland and no flavor the wings were dry nothing juicy about it. They recommended. The pizza was small not even a normal size pizza. Our onion blossom was burned and they had the audacity to bring it to our table. We mentioned our experience to the managers and they seemed like they didn't care. I think they just wanted us to pay and leave. Horrible experience do not recommend at all. Only if you're gonna go in and watch a game and have a cold beer. The scenery was nice and they had lots of big screens all around with different games which was great.

So we were out riding this past Sunday and decided to check out Eagle Mountain Casino. We had visited before but didn't eat at any of the restaurants they have. So we weren't even sure what we would find to eat. After entering the casino we just walked off to the left and I immediately saw The Redwood Tap House. It had just opened being that it was 11am. So we were seated quickly. I was immediately impressed by how spacious it was and how the layout really was planned out well. Especially when it came to placement of the TV screens. There were so many and in great spots. I will be here during football season. It really is that well set up. We were seated near the window and it didn't make a difference. I had a great view of all the screens. Our server gave us menus and took our drink orders. I was surprised to see such a good menu. Honestly I didn't know what to expect in this place. But they really have a great menu. After a good study of their great culinary offerings. My wife chose the Sliced Brisket Sandwich which came with potato salad and a nice salad. I chose the Blackened Catfish. It wasn't long before our food arrived being we were there pretty early. But as we waited we took in the atmosphere of this establishment. It was a really nice ride on the bike to get here. You could smell all the citrus trees and fresh air as we made our way to Eagle Mountain Casino. Our server wheeled out our food and wow did it looked amazing and so well put together. My catfish came in. Iron skillet and so did my wife's potato salad. I just was so excited to see that. Then to see how my food was prepared and put together. It was just so impressive to see they have pride in what they do. Man I tell you what. That was some dam good food. That catfish came on a bed of black bean cake with rice and a crawfish sauce that was absolutely amazing. I just couldn't get over the quality of this dish. My wife's food was equally delicious. We just grubbed. The whole time we were there I kept noticing this man clearing tables and making sure things looked good. That was nice to see someone taking pride in doing their job. In all this is a great place to eat and we will definitely be back to grub again!

The hamburger was dry and the bacon was burned. Fries and onion rings were were good. Baked beans- my husband liked them, I didn't care for them, they tasted like tomato sauce base.It would be nice to of had a pickle spear or pickles on the hamburger.It would also be great if they set ketchup bottles on the table, instead of having to keep asking for more than the little plastic containers.I won't order the Redwood Burger again, but my husband will.

Service was not good .. Waited 15 min to just get our Drink order .. then another 10 to get our food order .. nobody asked if we wanted a refill or how things were going.. they were more interested n the large table groups ordering DRINKS from the bar. 1 hr 20 min later we were done . and there was only two of us. ... Manager came over finally and asked how things were we told her .. she was like oh sorry .. no comp drinks or 10 % off nothing .. NOT a good experience at all
