I was so blessed to find this amazing true charity that is here in the community to help and not make huge profits what once was a resource for so many in need has become a place where so many have come and buy and resell causing the stores too increase the prices and even pull things to put on line to sell, I cannot even afford to shop in the well-known thrift stores . I am 61 and disable my Mother is 84 we struggle every day as we have a very limited income ,This was such a blessing to find I can not thank the staff for the kindness and love they all show not only is it a great place to shop it is a great place to feel as if we matter as if someone cares and that is the true gift.I do hope that we understand how sharing is so important and that your donations here are not for shear profit to the CEO or corporation this stays in this community and they so help so many it is a place where you truly do make a difference so please before taking your donations anywhere else come meet this beautiful staff and see the love they share and know you are helping this community and that is such a blessing may we never forget, Charity begins at Home .....God Bless All Of You .

What a scam! Red White Blue Community Development Thrift Store. I do Not recommend this store. They do not honor veterans serving in the military. They have No customer service, do Not expect a welcome to the store or a thank you for stopping by!! They are too busy looking at there phones or talking among themselves to help you! I had my entire family with me, my 3 daughters and grandchildren. My one daughter is a veteran and visiting, she is serving in the Navy for 10 years. Red White and Blue staff were rude and not very friendly. There pricing is confusing and not like any thrift store charity I have ever been in, I have been all over the US thrift store shopping. It's a thing our family does. The staff or owners do not have close family serving military, maybe extended family but No one there! They do not know good costumer service. Checking at the register they treat Us as if they are doing Us a favor, they don't tell you how much you will be paying after there confusing pricing. Nothing is the prices marked, there policy is price High so it seems like your getting a deal if they give you the correct discount, and they don't give you the correct discount!! They treat customers as if we are stupid if we ask for the discount that is posted! They did Not "Thank" my daughter for her service 10 years serving in the Navy, when she showed her military ID for her discount. They gave her 5% for her services Not 15%. When I ask to correct it they said that is what we give!! She was visiting from where she is stationed, visiting for holiday. Don't shop here they have No respect for our people that are serving our country. They don't support veterans, "posted front door" 100% of Profit Benefits Veterans" is a Lie!! I'm so embarrassed for taking my daughter to Red White Blue Community Development Thrift Store in Quartz Hill.... I added 5 photos including the receipt. If they aren't posted it's because of the business.

I have been to this little thrift shop many times, prepandemic and bought quite a few things. Things were organized and priced fairly in the past. Today I went in to browse, and the displays were very mishmash... and very expensive. I picked up a non designer coffee mug... $8. My daughter found an pair Aerosoles of worn out loafers for $15. So, we won't be back until their prices get more family friendly AND more inline with other thrift shops.

Love this place. The prices are actually thrift store prices with daily deals and they have a great selection of glasses, furniture etc. the only thing lacking in my opinion is the clothing section but it's not that big of a deal. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcomed. Thanks Shar!Edit: one con is their hours can sometimes be unreliable. They often open late or close early.

The store itself is very unorganized and cluttered and could use some organization. They need someone,to clean this place up and add some organisation and maybe even some beauty to it. The area where the clothes are stocked is VERY decent and organized well. The floor where all the toys, furniture, photo frames, etc. are place could use a woman's touch. Priced fair and some times VERY reasonably priced. I got a very cute shelf today for $8.00.Overall, this Thrift Store is located in a very cute part of Quartz Hill and it is one of my favorites Thrift Stores. The store opens at 9:00 AM. I being the first one through the door. If you are a Thrift Store Junkie like myself, I would encourage you to support this local Thrift Store. Everyday you are sure to find something you didn't see the day before..

Traveling back through the area and stopped to check out the store... very organized, everything is priced and everyone working was friendly. I really like that the proceeds go to help veterans unlike some of the other thrift stores. A little off the beaten path but If you have time stop by and check them out.

Short woman with neck tattoo who works the front desk has got to pick a different occupation. If it's so difficult to have decent customer service, I suggest working somewhere where the customers who need servicing don't "bother" you.She walked away from the register to go out back, we waited a while for her to return so we could get rung up, after minutes of her leaving the front unattended my younger brother went to find her. To which she huffed and puffed and said "I literally JUST walked away but okay whatever." Ma'am, he's a child, who asked nicely if we could check out now. There was no need for attitude. And with this being the worst encounter of the many we've had, i'm surprised she's still employed.

This used to be one of my favorite thrift stores for many years, the owners have always been super nice! But I went here just yesterday and it looked like they got new employees and they were incredibly rude. I first found a mirror that had a price tag on it and left it up at the front so I wasn't carrying it around the store. When I was done I went to the counter with my items and also said I have a mirror as well. The girl sitting behind the counter gave me a rude look and another lady told me the mirror wasn't for sale. I said oh but it had a price on it and she was like no it's one we use in the store. Typically if thrift stores don't want to sell something they put a sign that says *NOT FOR SALE*. Not be rude to a costumer because they didn't know it wasn't for sale. Then I just stood there because I was ready to check out with my other items and the lady sitting behind the counter just stared at me some more, she must be the stores statue. And the other lady that told me the item wasn't for sale asked if I was ready to check out and proceeded to help me. But the lady that helped me also asked the person after me if he knew the dart board he wanted to get was $100. Like she's shocked someone wanted to buy an overpriced dart board that was priced at your store? Also the prices have been unreasonable lately, I understand the store has gone through a lot in the past years and they always do have deals. But it's off putting when I see them throw away items because they didn't sell, instead of just making things cheap and they can sell more.It honestly makes me sad to give such a low review to a thrift store I once loved to go to.
