Red Roof Inn Palmdale - Lancaster

Had to stay here 2 nights at random and let me say, these rooms are horrible. I stayed in 2 different ones and both were bad. I was scared of the bathrooms, especially the showers. One of the rooms had usb charging in the bed-side tables and the other room didn't have that so I was screwed out of charging on the second night.The walls are thin and somehow also acoustic so you hear everything and it's loud.It seems like a lot of families and couples come here so it feels safe. They also allow dogs for an extra fee which some people may like, but that's an added noise that can get loud. I'm not handicapped, but I do find it strange that there is a second floor and there is no elevator. I suppose anyone with a disability is given first floor priority, so that works?On the flip side, the beds are surprisingly comfortable and lobby has a decent selection of snacks and drinks. The staff is also reeeeeaaaalllly friendly. Both the front desk and the cleaning crew. Because of this, I'd recommend staying here if you're in a bind or on a budget.

The rooms have roaches, towels are badly stained. Plumbing is questionable. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms have hair in shower.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Stayed here ignoring all of the reviews and INSTANTLY regretted it. They have non smoking and smoking rooms.... The entire building smells like smoke Checked-in and walked to our room and walked out and cancelled 10 mins later. Floors in the room looked like they weren't mopped, bath tub def wasn't cleaned, sheet had MULTIPLE stains on them The room was non smoking but smelled like smoke The only positive about the hotel was the staff was super nice and helpful Also if booking thru Expedia just make sure u have a refund request waiver filled out for a refund. Got a run around for 3 days bc they weren't able to get in touch with them. For what reason the phone number does not work. When dialing it's a busy line.

I am in the red roof Inn right now and the services are horrible. The room is so dirty & dogs are all over. Wi-Fi didn't work and the front desk said, " you don't even need to pay WiFi and it doesn't work on your laptop or computer. " She even understands the English or what she is talking ? I made the mistake and I am recording her on my iPhone what she said. I ll request refund for 3rd party booking. Or I can report to BBB ! Terrible, terrible and terrible.

My first time spending the night here yesterday. The restroom was horrible and now found a bug on the bed which my nephew got rid of for it for my mom

nice place when your on a budget. Front desk clerks are really nice and they have a snack area in front that is not expensive

FECES in my room!!! This should be illegal to operate this way. I booked a room here being unfamiliar with the area but I had cats I was traveling with and Red Roof allows pets. My first room had roaches everywhere, a broken chair ( I fell backwards when I tried to recline in it ), the sink was disgusting, walls filthy, all the carpet in the hallways are soiled and stink of urine which is why they leave all the windows open I'm guessing, the entire place smells of meth and weed, people yelling and screaming can be heard all up and down the halls at all time ( feels like a crack house ), there's a homeless camp that seems to have set up right under my window and are as loud as can be all night, there are vehicles in the parking lot that are up on Jack stands with the wheels missing, broken auto glass everywhere ( don't bring your car here ). I asked to switch rooms because my door wouldn't even close, the door frame and hinges were destroyed. My second room was no better and the microwave is missing. As I was switching rooms I found old, dried up animal doo doo under my desk. Clearly no one is cleaning. How are these people allowed to stay open???

Piece of shit place. Gave me a room with no working outlets and jammed the window so I could close it, before my arrival. my key card didn't work several times and had to stop by the window to get a new key card. Terrible inconvenience and I'm up at 3 am writing this hoping for a better nights rest. My room was smoked out, and I could my key card had been given to others. Each encounter with the front office was unpleasant. In my past stay, my computer charger was stolen. Things haven't gotten better since then. Not even with 30 dollars a night.

We have been staying at the hotel off and on for over 2 years now, and have seen it go through many changes. I can tell you it's never looked so good! Mr. Mike and the crew have worked their rears off with all the renovations and it's a great motel with new flooring, landscaping and many more amenities. It's also one of the best deals you can get in town. The rooms are clean, great air conditioning , cable TV, fridge, microwave, and very comfortable beds. My wife and I will always be a Red Roof customer for life! Best economy motel in town!Danny and Dianna Ballinger

This place is horrible. I paid for the night left with a few hours being there. The bed sheets look dirty the bathroom had holes that were cover up but not well. It seems like someone would break in through the window to get in the room. I would not recommend this place. I am not sure if they house homeless but it looks like it. To many ppl outside the area. When we turn the lights off to sleep you can see the lights from under the door. I can't. I found this place on Expedia and I wish I would have know have bad it was for the price. We paid for the room and when we got there the front desk still asked for a $60 deposit. I made sure I got my money back. Look for a better place and safer.
