Good food, good service. And they're children friendly! The bathroom even has a children's potty seat. Super appreciate that. The brisket, tri tip, ribs, Mac and cheese - all delicious.

Whoa...Again and again I stop at this AMAZING restaurant and it NEVER disappoints...This one word **PASTRAMI**I've had pastrami all over the country and THIS is top tier, make a special trip kinda pastrami!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!Bought a couple pounds, brought it home, reheated as the owner advised and HOLY COW, besides Langer's in LA, maybe the BEST pastrami sandwich I've ever had!!!First off, if you're not eating at Red House BBQ in Tehachapi already, you're missing out!! Nothing I've ever eaten here was bad! It's ALL really good! EVERYTHING....DO NOT forget the Brisket and the Mac and Cheese!! Both are like no other in this area and others...Staff is ALWAYS amazing, food is made quickly, restaurant is clean and I don't know of any other place with this level of BBQ food! PLEASE eat here!!!

Extremely busy when we went tonight, not a seat unfilled we waited for about 20 minutes to be seated outside in the patio section as there's no standing room. The restaurant itself seemed to clean as well as the restroom. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of. The food was great wasn't our first choice, but it sounds like they ran out of a lot of stuff. We will definitely be back to try some more later more to come..

Great BBQ! Found this place while visiting Tehachapi and the food was excellent. The sliced brisket plate was delicious. The meat was so tender and juicy. We also ordered the beef ribs. They came with mashed bourbon yams and cornbread. The ribs were a bit on the dry side... so the consistency was more like beef jerky. Not enjoyable but tasty. I would have preferred the meat to be juicy and tender like the brisket. We also tasted the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was delicious and tender. You must try the mac-n-cheese. It was amazing and yummy. It was gooey and so tasty with a hint of smoke- we ordered a second side of it!!The service was good, friendly and quick. The place is cute and definitely has a country and outdoor set feel to it. The place is very rustic and charming. We did notice exposed insulation way up in the ceiling so they may want to take care of that. Just sayin'!The bathroom was the coolest place in the restaurant; the everywhere else it was not cool but bearable. The prices were good at this place for BBQ so looking forward to venturing over there again to try their pulled chicken and hot links. They also have a few Cajun dishes, featuring Cajun shrimp. We were enjoying our food so much, forgot to take pics. But got the menu. Enjoy!

Great spot in Tehachapi. The ribs were incredible!! It doesn't look like much from the outside (a dive as Guy Fieri might call it) but the people are friendly and the food is great. Order at the counter and sit down to enjoy your delicious meal. Grab an Indian Fry Bread for dessert!! The BBQ is great and the sandwiches are good too. Price is really reasonable for the quality and amount of food.

Staff was very friendly and the service was quick, but the food was even better. I got the brisket plate and the meat was perfectly cooked with a delicate flavor. For my sides, I got the cornbread and the red slaw. The cornbread was fluffy and flavorful and the slaw was crisp and tangy. No chance I was walking out of there with anything left on my plate

Red House is a cool local spot in Tehachapi. They're known for their bbq and didn't disappoint. Food was good. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, chili, and mac n cheese. Good all around. A few different bbq sauces to complement meats - spicy, sweet, and mild. I personally liked the sweet and mild. The serving was enough to take leftovers home. Staff was very friendly and helpful w/ suggestions. They do have their own parking lot. Memorabilia inside restaurant gives its personality.

This place was great! Very cool Native American and patriotic decor. Felt like it was where all the locals normally frequent. The customer service was very good and the food was delicious! I'm was so happy they had gluten free options especially the GF Bun! I haven't enjoyed a Pulled Pork sandwich like that in a long time if ever! We were just driving through and decided to give it a try. This will definitely be an official stop for us whenever we come out this way again!

My wife and I chowed in the Red House on our way to Vegas.As we walked in the place was fairly busy with customers enjoying their meals and others waiting for theirs.The smell of the smokers and smoked meats was fantastic!I ordered a brisket sandwich on brioche bun, it came with a piece of cornbread, and a small bag of chips. I also added a side of mac n cheese...because brisket with mac is a must.My food was awesomely deeelish!My wife ordered a smoked chicken cobb salad with cornbread on the side. She was also very impressed with her meal.Food was tasty and the staff were attentive and friendly.We definitely recommend this local chow spot.

Don't pass this place up, the baked potato is a must, as well at the pork ribs. I have been eating fried okra all my life, though my mom's was the best, (RIP mama). Hands down Red House is the best fried okra ever. The place is quirky and interesting, lots to look at. The service is friendly, efficient and just darling. So happy to find this gem, can't wait for my next trip through Tehachapi.
