Rancho Grande

The BEST Ojai experience! Beautiful ranch with lots of friendly animals and so many activities from swimming at the lake to star-gazing to a fun-filled games room. Richard, Linda and Alex were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back every year to visit and make more beautiful memories with our little one.

We visited rancho grande with a group of friends and had the best time! We rented the accommodations on Airbnb, hired their preferred caterer to feed us plus their astronomer to give a lesson at night. It truly was a magical weekend. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

This is a fantastic place to visit. We only stayed one day and one night in the awesome Rancho Grande Fish Camp Glamour Tent but we did so much, we still can't believe it was not longer. We hiked, rode horses, went on the goat walk, played pool in the Rock Room, and visited with a ton of animals including some really great dogs. We will be back.

It is such a beautiful location and Richard and Linda were fabulous hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so eager to show us the ranch and their animals. We had neglected to bring s'mores and they offered to provide them for us! Kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed barbecuing by the lake. My friends enjoyed the game room but after a wonderful day outside I was ready for bed. Just walking around and listening to the birds, bullfrogs and watching the butterflies made the weekend an incredible experience.

Went there today, July 21 2024 to inquire about the visitation and what I need to do to bring my grandkids to visit. The owner was rude to me so disrespectful I would not bring my kids there if it was the last place to go to visit animals. And it looks completely rundown never been updated and I just was shocked at how rude and aggressive he was.

I visited Rancho Grande (from LA) with friends this past weekend and had the absolute best time!The animals are all super friendly and accustomed to hanging with humans. To our surprise, you can actually go in and pet them/hang out with them which is something I haven't experienced at other farms.The lake was probably my favorite as its super pretty and fun to hang in during these warm days. Make sure to look out for the many quarter sized frogs which will come by and say hi! They were so cute!I absolutely recommend this place!
