5 stars for the Shrimp Fajitas lolRancho Grande recently made it to my office's regular lunch spots and I sure am glad it did! The portions are large and the food is super fresh. We always order for delivery and the food is always delivered very quickly and is still piping hot when it arrives! I did stop by here twice with my family to eat in person after discovering the place and its a really fun, colorful restaurant! The staff is friendly and accommodating. There are several mexican restaurants in Bakersfield I've been to many of them. Let me tell you this is the best one around: the ambiance is perfect the decor is awesome and unique. They have very fresh chips the salsa is out of this world delicious has very good flavor and spice. They have a wide variety of items to choose from appetizers to main courses and deserts. The customer service is amazing the staff is very Friendly and professional they have a full Bar the drinks are made perfectly. I highly suggest this restaurant you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be going back!!!

The food was good. Customer service was on point. They helped and was very attentive to our party. Always made sure we were OK and satisfied with our food and drinks. Ambiance was a family style dinner place. It seems like they have a popping drinks menu ... it's very colorful and all the TVs were playing a football game. I'll have to try the adult beverages next time.

This is our favorite location, even though the one on Brimhall is closer... Never leave disappointed. Im a basic bro, taco/enchilada with green olives with rice and beans for me and its always so good. The enchilada sauces are all fantastic. The wife varies her orders between seafood enchiladas, chili verde, and chili colorado, of which all are great, again all of the different sauces are so good. Service is alway good, prices are inline with just about all the other mexican food joints as well... The one thing I am not a fan of is their chips and salsa, the chips stick to my teeth really bad and the salsa is so tangy/acidic that it makes my tongue tingle, not sure what it is, but I tend to avoid them both. There are a lot of great Mexican spots in Bakersfield and I'd heard great things about Rancho Grande, but it just wasn't my favorite. I'll start off with some positives though. Our large party was able to get seated immediately for lunch. They had cute Christmas decor already set up and were quick to provide us with service. Our food came out immediately. The rice and beans with my dish were delicious and really enjoyable. I also liked that the salsa that came with the chips had a nice picante kick to it!I ordered the mole enchiladas and they were a miss. The chicken inside was really dry and the mole wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. It'd be worth trying something else but I wasn't impressed. Their portions are large so it's nice to have a little leftovers, especially given the reasonable pricing.

Service was pretty good, but all 4 of our dishes were brought out at different times and I was sat waiting while everyone else was eating for a while. Presentation was great, but all 4 of us were not satisfied with our food and it was significantly lacking flavor.

Walking in the decor and ambiance was unique and great. Has patio seating with heaters and plenty of room for larger parties. Overall food and service was great. I couldn't figure out what I wanted so I ordered the casuelitas and wasn't disappointed. Will definitely come back to try other items for sure.
