Rainbow Drive In - Visalia

Anytime I am looking to have a great burger Rainbow Drive In is the first place that comes to mind now. This establishment has earned its place in consistently great food and service. The burgers here carry a unique style that will leave you with a different but pleasant experience from other burger spots which in my opinion is due to the sauce and patties the burgers have. I have no doubt once you give them a try you will be reevaluating what defines a great burger and Rainbow Drive In will get you to that great burger experience.

This is the second time I've been to Rainbow Drive-In, and both times I've been extremely happy with my experience. This time, I ordered the fried okra and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. To be honest, it was great. The okra was perfect, crispy, and flavorful. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was wonderful; it's been a long time since I've ordered a Philly cheesesteak from somewhere and actually enjoyed it this much. The only thing I would do differently is leave the tomatoes off the sandwich. They weren't bad, just not my thing.We used the drive-through, and I was impressed with how clean the building and surrounding area were. The food is bomb, and the service is friendly. Highly recommend!

Pulling up you question whether or not this is drive through ... wonder how it works. However, the reviews made me demand a pastrami. Inside, it's actually larger than what it seems from the outside. It was very clean and had a decent amount of people either dining or waiting for food (good sign). I told them it was my first visit, and ordered the pastrami sandwich, pastrami bacon burger, fries. They had fried pickles as a special so I added them. The young lady and, what I assumed was the owner were, very nice. The owner personally packed my bag and told me to try the fried Okra with the thousand island dressing ... on the house! It was very sweet of him. The food was delicious. He was right, the okra with thousand island was really good! I LOVED the fried pickles. The pastrami was delicious and the burger outstanding! I think I found my new burger joint! Thanks to the owner! Once I found his name I'll repost.

Too expensive I can get better food anywhere else for a better price. $15.79 is just greed. I'm done buying here and telling my family and friends to stop as well.

foods great good mix for everyone to eat and drink, fast service. Have not eaten at the facility yet. Mostly take home.

The food is good. Went there in January and the food was delicious. Went again in March and did not disappoint. All of the food is good. Thank you rainbow.

So I'm going to give this place 1star but I'll tell you why. It'll be short and to the point. We've been coming here from Hanford and to us it's the best place for good ol' burgers, fries and of course fried shrooms! We have never had any issues with food or customer services UNTIL today! We went to have lunch which we typically go for dinner and this time we had a different employee (girl) who took our order. From the get go she was rude and ZERO smile. Not even a freaking fake smile for the sake of her job. She made this experience horrible. Plus she handed us a wipe to clean our own table!! Ridiculous!! If those are the owners cooking in the back you MUST be aware of the poor customer service this girl is giving your loyal customers! I hate to call her "girl" but with no name tag that's the nicest name I can call her. I'm sure the locals know who she is. This can't be the 1st time. So we won't be returning during the midday anymore!

The service was very good nice polite and make it your way! We had cheeseburger, double cheeseburger with bacon barbecue sauce and grilled onions, chili cheese fries with pastrami and jalepeno poppers. The poppers DO NOT look like the photos Jack n box are better! Burgers were fantastic chili cheese with pastrami was good pastrami little fatty and stringy. But overall it was great we will come back but have to say like all places these days was very pricey. Extra charge for peppers etc. our bill was $40 not too bad for all the extras we got overall happy

Love this little burger joint. Their fried burritos are really good too. Super friendly staff!
