This boutique has very cute clothes. The buyer has excellent style. Unfortunately, the woman who owns this shop is UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. I used to shop here regularly and spend quite a bit of money at this store, but after the last incident *which, truth be told was about 2-3 years ago* I haven't been back. Despite it being so long since, this incident has stuck in my mind, and now I'm going to share it with you. Let this be a lesson that the way you treat people MATTERS.I had a lovely day of shopping. I purchased maybe $200 worth of clothing. It was winter at the time and I did not try everything on that I ended up buying. When I got home, I modeled the clothing for my sister when I discovered one of the shirts I purchased (roughly $30, give or take) was rather small. THE VERY NEXT DAY, receipt in hand, I brought the shirt back *TO EXCHANGE. I found a shirt for almost $50 that I liked better. When I presented the items for exchange the owner accused me of wearing the shirt and trying return it to rip her off?! (Keep in mind, I was trying to spend an additional $20 in her store with my exchange item -- lolz, what?) I explained that I literally bought this shirt less than 24 hours before and IT WAS TOO SMALL FOR ME TO WEAR (hence, why I was returning it) I WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT RIPPING HER OFF. She raised her voice at me, humiliating me in front of other customers, saying something along the lines of 'it smells like it's been sprayed with perfume or deoderant, obviously you wore it and are lying to my face, don't expect me to try to resell this...' She refused to exchange the shirt for the $50 shirt I picked out and instead gave me the same shirt I tried to return in the larger size...? I left that shop feeling degraded. Never stepped foot back in since.
