Q and Q Hawaiian BBQ

New spot gave it a go. So far so good! Definitely not the best service and feels like a take out place. The inside feels cold and uncomfortable. But food was good portions were large. Spare ribs were meaty hope they stay that way. Feels like short ribs at Hawaiian bbq spots have shrunk to 90% bone these days

Okay so it's been a while since I stopped eating their food. Thought I'd give it a try again. Price wise it's reflecting the bad economy. $20 or more for a meal with beef. Ribs and Beef Combo. Okay the flavor was there but sadly they ran out of BEEF so of course my Plate was shorted... I thought my bag of food felt kind of light but when I looked, I couldn't even see the Beef unless I lifted the 2 ribs. Surprisingly, they were even skimpy on the rice and Sallad .... It was just really weird. I mean honestly, they should have put an extra rib on the plate if the only have a couple tablespoons of Beef Left. Keep your customers happy and Satisfied and watch the Tip Jar Grow. Be honest too. Anyway, after eating at other Hawaiian BBQ places, I decided to up the Stars for this business. Hopefully next time they will not Short me on the plate.

I didn't feel like cooking dinner this evening after work and decided to order take out from Q&Q Hawaiian BBQ. Great location, ample parking! Located across the parking lot from Trader Joe's in Palmdale.I walked in to a young lady cleaning the tables and sweeping the floors. The place was immaculate! She gave me a friendly greeting, went and washed her hands and met me on the other side of the counter to take my order.I decided on the Hawaiian BBQ Mix and a Chicken Katsu plate. I planned to serve "family style" at home and asked if the rice and mac salad could be packed separately. I offered to pay for the extra containers, but she said don't worry about it. They do it all the time!I was picking up food for two, and trust me.. we don't eat like birds. Well, when I got home and opened the packages, I couldn't believe how much food was there! The prices are extremely reasonable for those generous portions. Note, the proteins are not sitting on a bed of rice. They're sitting on more proteins! The BBQ beef and kalbi ribs are sitting on 3-4 BBQ chicken thighs. That one dish would have been more than enough for hubby and I, but we love their Chicken Katsu so much, we wanted the variety. I'm not exaggerating when I say 4-5 adults could have easily shared this. So for the two of us, we have plenty of delicious leftovers for lunches. The Hawaiian BBQ mix is delicious! The beef is cooked in a marinade and is tender. The kalbi rib is exquisite as always, and the chicken thighs were tasty. I prefer them over chicken breasts because they're more moist. Maybe it's an Asian thing? The chicken Katsu was cooked perfectly! Light, crispy coating and moist chicken inside. Had I realized how much chicken was in the order, I would have taken a couple more containers of the Katsu sauce! I think the owners may have changed over the years, but we still love this place and will definitely be back. If you haven't tried them yet, don't sleep on this!

Horrible service! I like hot sauce and they only give you one sirracha packet. That's like only giving one packet of ketchup for your french fries. Some people like more. Older Asian lady was very rude and would only give me one small packet of Sirracha when I asked for one more. I've came here when the older Asian lady is not here and never have this issue. It's always when she's here. Makes my trip to this restaurant very unpleasant.

Yummy surprise. After reading the most recent reviews after ordering, I almost regretted ordering. I was craving Hawaiian BBQ and only know this place was nearby because I was out shopping so it was early enough that they just opened.The restaurant was very clean and although we didn't get the aloha greeting, the young lady at the counter was very polite and pleasant.We ordered the Hawaiian mix, bbq short rib mix, chicken katsu and spam masubi. All yummy and so filling. They really gave us our moneys worth. Will definitely be back.Thank you Q&Q for still being around.

Food is at it's best. (I got the Kalbi short ribs & my husband got the mahi/chicken combo) The service is good and fast. And the store is very clean and cold even though it's 100 degrees outside. Plus I love how they play hawaiian songs as a background music. It was so relaxing. I will recommend this to everyone.

Most of the food is good BUT the loco moco they make with fkn PEANUT BUTTER. That's by no means Hawaiian dish. Totally ruined. If you like short rib then yea go but if you craving basic loco then this isn't the spot. Junk. Might as well spit in the face of Hawaiians with this dish. Shame

Whenever we have a get together for a birthday or celebration, we order the family meals. Our favorite dishes are the short ribs and spam. We enjoy the food and the conveniently priced family meal!

i rushed over here after work tonight to make it before 9pm. i walked in at 8:50 (i know that bc when i pulled into the parking spot- the first stall in front of their entrance my car clock read 8:49) and the girl says "sorry we're closed." I told her well it says 9 o'clock. and she goes, "we stop taking orders at 8:50." I look down on at my phone, well it's 8:51. The lack of appreciate for even having a job appalls me. If the business owner of this establishment only knew that their employees aren't doing their job.... And, people wonder why they can't get a job. How about the keeping it.

Ok, I wanna like this place but I've ordered 3x from here and I've been to the store. Not once has it been good! The food shows up dry and overcooked. The spam is super crunchy! Not suppose to that way. The chicken has no flavor and it's overcooked! They either forget the forks or the condiments. The best thing on the plate is the Mac salad! Which is unfortunate. I def won't be going to eat there and or ordering from here anymore. As they say, three strikes and you're out!
