Pupusas la Buena Vida

I went here on a Tuesday evening.I ordered a super papusa but I didn't understand how it worked. I misread the sign that showed what was included for options so I ordered a super papusa with only chicharron and queso. The cashier gave me a confused look but still proceeded with my order. Super papusas are only available on Tuesdays and ThursdaysThe menu was only in Spanish only so it might make it a bit difficult for people who don't know Spanish or can't use a translator app.Anyways even though I botched my order the papusa they gave me was still good. It was very big (~1 foot in diameter) and has a nice crunch and the cheese was gooey. They also gave me curtido as an appetizer. The curtido had a nice crunch too and the hot sauce that was included was not that spicy.

The place is not that big but clean. The lady in cashier is very nice . Their food is really good. It takes time to get your order but it is worth it. They don't have tacos. I ordered pupusas cheese and meat. And I ordered beef soup too. Customers keep on asking coming ... their food is really tasty! I give it a 10!

I am so glad we didn't let the negative comments sway us from trying this place. This place will definitely be on our favorites place from now on. We ordered the sopa de pata, yucca con fritada, bandeja la buena vida, and 2 drinks: arrayan, and marañon. Everything was so delicious! I am super picky and this place did not disappoint. It all tasted very much like my mom's cooking. The yucca was crispy and soft. The tamale's masa was flavorful. The sopa was full of meat and veggies. Definitely worth trying. Please give this place a try. Side note: All menu prices have a 3.99% increase if you pay with a card.

Pupusas were delicious, pretty quick service as we called in an order of like 15 pupusas and a few other things, plenty of toppings and the portions were good. Will be back when we have another pupusa craving

Great atmosphere and very nice staff. Got some barn and cheese pupusas for a to go snack. Made to order. Hot and yummy

Authentic Food ! Only 1 person working in the back cooking and 1 upfront so be patient. The food is worth the wait. Good prices .

I've had a hard time finding a decent pupusa spot out here in the AV. I had lost all hope until we walked into Pupusas La Buena Vida. We ordered chicharrón and cheese pupusas which were phenomenal! They had a good cheese/chicharrón ratio and tasted like they came right off the comal to the plate. We also had their empanadas both the beans and the milk kind and they were also tasty! The service needs a little improvement, but as this is a new business growing pains is expected. The staff were very friendly. So please be patient, the food is worth the wait.The dining room area is very clean, a little tight if you're on the fluffier side like myself but I made it work. Overall! Great experience, great quality of food/ingredients! I will definitely come back for more!

Horrible customer service. Never coming here again! They take forever to take your order, bring your food and bring you your check.

Bad service never going to order again, for 2 pupusas they want me to go back I orden 4 beans and cheese and put me Revuelta. I don't need to drive all the way back only because they make the mistake. Supposedly talk with owner and she didn't even apologize she cut me off the phone . really bad service .food was bad!

Worst customer service!! Primera vez que pruebo este restaurante porque mi hermano me lo recomendó. hice una orden grande de $150 en pupusas tamales de chipilin y tamales de elote. Cuando llegue a mi casa vi que la orden me la dieron mal Me pusieron tamales de pollo en vez de los de los de chipilin Llamé al restaurante y les dije que los llevaría de regreso abrimos 2 tamales para asegurarnos que si eran de pollo Uno lo abrió mi niño y pues el se lo empezó a comer.. por eso regresé los 5 cuando llegue al restaurante pensé que me iban a pedir disculpas pero en vez de eso la señora dijo "solo trajo 5" le contesté si abrimos 2 pero mi niño le metido el tenedor y pues no creo que lo quieran así.. bottom line solo me dieron 5 jajaja.. no regresaré a este restaurante más
