I called for an estimate for re-roof Before my 28 year old roof starts leaking. Jason arrived 2 days later at time promised. He assessed condition, gave me brochure for products they use and provided a fair estimate the next day.Their crew of 4 craftsmen arrived 10 days later completed the entire job (single story home) in only 8 hours spread over 2 days. The crew was very respectful of my property and completely cleaned up the job site.The owner (Jerry) even payed a visit at the end of the job which i thought was a very professional and classy thing to do. The other thing which is impressive is Protec roofing is based in Bakersfield and my home is in the Tehachapi mountains which is about 58 miles away. The roof looks OUTSTANDING !Thanks Protec roofing.

I called Protec Roofing to get free estimate, for water leak on the ceiling. Jason showed up early on time, gave me a courtesy call to see if I can make it.He checked the roof and did not find anything wrong, except a few sliding tiles that he pushed back.So, I much appreciate Jason and Protec.Pros: Showing up on time, honesty, customer service.Cons: None.For roof problem in the future, definitely I will call this company first to get estimate.

Had some cracked tiles on our roof. Called Protec for an estimate. Jason came out the next day looked at tiles gave me an estimate and fixed them on the spot. Very efficient. I would definitely recommend Jason and Protec for your roofing needs.

I searched high and low for a roofing contractor- for years! I met with about every roofing company in Bakersfield. I found Jerry on Yelp! and found all his 5 star ratings there as well as on his website. Which I loved to see! Jerry's quote was a very fair price. But what really sold my husband and I was his fast response. Whenever I called Jerry he answered his phone and had answers to all my questions. He even came back a second time and talked to both my husband and I again in person. The job started on time- and finished in a reasonable amount of time! We have a BIG roof so I knew it would be a long process. They cleaned up everything every day- stayed late if they needed too. He called me every day with a status update. He took care of everything and made everything right- so I would be completely satisfied. Which included a painter to fix some small touch ups. I would definitely recommend Jerry! Thanks for all your hard work guys! I wish I could post a before and after picture! I love our roof!

The recent winter rainstorms have pretty much decimated my old shake shingle roof, resulting in several nasty leaks. Jerry and his crew arrived quickly, assessed the damage, made repairs and gave me some honest options concerning a re-roof. Jerry took the time to give me details on financing the job as well. I thought the roofing estimate provided was more than fair and all work was done quickly and courteously. These guys are gold and I'm more than pleased to recommend Protec for your roofing needs.

Great treatment and very helpful & honest. Jerry called me back quickly out of kindness. He doesn't work on the particular issue I have but was nice enough to call me back just to give me the name of someone who does. ( That gentleman is coming out in 2 hrs) Class act! Hard to find people as helpful as Jerry these days. Will recommend him to friends/family.

Jerry, Jason, and the entire Protec crew are the best. They are punctual, friendly, and professional. Their estimate was not the cheapest, but they were willing to work with me, and I felt comfortable with the quality of the work I was going to receive. They've been in the business for a long time and it shows. We had an unusual patch of rain leading up to my job, which put them behind schedule, but they kept in touch with me and let me know what was happening. When they started work, the job was knocked out in three days, even with some adversity. I had a major framing issue with the peak of my roof, and Jerry brought in a contractor he knew to fix the issue in a few hours, at a very reasonable price and we were back on track. The only hold-up ended up being waiting on the inspector, who couldn't keep up with Protec's pace. The following day, my roof was sheeted, and the next day they were done, but 1:00pm. Their flexibility and professionalism was amazing, but the quality of the work is what really stands out. My roof looks great and I'm sure it will last for decades. I can't praise Protec enough.

We hired Protec to replace our old shake roof with comp. Of all of the home renovations we have had done this was the smoothest, least stressful project we have experienced & our new roof looks amazing! Protec has great correspondence, very fair pricing, always showed up on time, got right to work & stayed working the whole time (no slacking off or dragging out the job), cleaned up the job site each day, were professional & respectful of our property. They started on a Monday and finished that Thursday. Thanks to Protec we now have a good looking, quality roof. 10/10 would recommend Protec to anyone!

We had a leak in our kitchen last night. I called Protec Roofing today and Jason was here the same day to inspect the roof. This is the first time I've called the company and I would definitely recommend them. The service was prompt and professional. I have to agree with another review about the honesty. My roof seemed to need only a minor adjustment in the metal sheeting. He fixed it and we were treated more than fairly by a competent professional. Thank you Jason for being an honest businessman.Update: Last nights rainy evening confirmed our leak is fixed!!

Highly recommend them. Needed to get bids for my bosses, and Jason at Protec was the only one who was able to give me a straight answer, timely bid, and get the job done in the time frame that was needed. Enjoyed working with them. AND... they clean up after themselves... excellent!
