Tired of being "F ".....I had a diesel truck towed into precision to have the gas drained out of it. They charged me $700.00 plus tow fees to drain and put diesel in it. They did not DRAIN the GAS out of it. Told me I needed a new engine. I took it to another machanic. The tank was still full of gas, not diesel. They didn't do anything. I have gone to several mechanics out in this area. I finally had had it and took B&M Automotive to court after the Automotive breau had inspected the job. Yes, I won the case. I would not go to any mechanic out here except Morgan. Morgan comes to you and is Liscensed, and Insured. He doesn't work on your vehicle until he gives you a written estimate. He carrys a computer and printer in his van. He has always done great work for me and my friends ! Just because they have a store front doesn't mean they are a legal business. Do your home work before going to any mechanic especially out here!!

The wife is super rude, and I went in right after having my car smogged at this place right down the street, I went in to get the codes (that were right on my smog print out) fixed so my car would pass smog. The lady was like "we can't take that smog we have to do our own smog" which cost like $80 and they said they'd have to do a diagnostic if I wanted to get any of those codes fixed and that would be extra 200-&-something-$$$$. So I opted to have my friend help me with fixing some of the codes. They won't even help you to put an O2 sensor on that that you bought from the exact place they buy their parts from... and for the same part I had purchased for $87 they wanted to charge me damn $200 for the part and labor. Someone referred me to Frankie at Kern River Automotive, and I don't go anywhere else, because they don't try to rip you off!

I could have died! After they replaced my brakes, rotors, and lug nuts, my wheel almost fell off. Precision said my lug nuts need replacing so I agreed as safety is paramount for me. Driving home I noticed scraping sounds. At my first opportunity I headed back to Precision. I didn't make it. Pulled over. My wheel was hanging crooked, only one lug nut left. I had car towed to different garage. They found broken studs, both rear & right front tires loose. Incorrect lug nuts in all wheels. Lug nuts too long and contacted rotor before tightening on rim. Left front wheel needed to be replaced. Precision says they will only refund $600. They refuse to pay for the $80 tow, $165 of work at garage #2, or $260 for lost work, an out of pocket expense due to this debacle. Original bill was $1,338. My actual expenses are over $1000. Wes accused me of "trying to take advantage ".Both Wes and Carolyn blamed me for not noticing the sound and refusing their tow back to Precision. They never apologized.

Great communication. Helpful and kind. Great customer service. I couldn't ask for two better people to have taken care of getting my son's car towed, off the grapevine of all places. Right place at the right time.

I was visiting Lake Isabella last week, and on our way out of town, we stopped for breakfast. My car started sputtering and lurching down the road, so I noticed the Precision Auto sign next to the cafe and walked over. Carolyn was at the front desk, and she was so very kind to me. Having zero idea what could be wrong, and being at the mercy of an unknown mechanic was scary, esp while on vacation! She took my AAA card, gave me a discount on what it would take to have the tech look at it. About an hour and a half later she called, saying it was all fixed! She even charged me much less than the original estimate, because the fix took about 20 minutes! I was *SO* grateful to her and all the techs at Precision, you really made the 6 hour drive home so much less stressful! Thank you!!!!

I used Precision Automotive for a AAA approved tow and my tow truck driver David was just the nicest person you'd want to meet in a time of need . Tha k you Precision Automotive . Keep up the good work !

Highway robbery. After our car got stuck in loose gravel at the Stine Recreation Area, we were connected to Precision via AAA. Precision told us that AAA would not cover our tow, which makes no sense since AAA was the one who initiated the service. They wanted $500 per car (2 were stuck). Ridiculous. We called around and found another company who helped us out immediately, at less than half the cost.

I always knew not to take my cars to Precision for repairs. My friends at the local auto parts store warned me years ago that these guys always seemed to find twice as many things wrong with the cars they worked on, compared with any of the other local shops. Now AAA refers customers (for a fee I assume) to this shop. After Precision gave her a tow through AAA, my wife asked them for an estimate to fix her car. The estimate was $1300 and we decided to get a second opinion. They refused to tow the car to the other shop, even as directed by AAA. They were actually going to hold her car ransom and charge her $120 for giving her an estimate. I called the owner and told him I would file a complaint with AAA if he charged us for an estimate. He responded by getting personal with me about my wife. AAA ended up calling a different towing company to tow our car out of their own yard.Overall, this was a terrible experience for us and we will never use their services again. Hopefully AAA finds a better contractor to serve this area.

Went in for tire installation. During install they damaged Left Front TPMS. TMPS Light would not reset months later at a tire they showed me why. They placed my broken TMPS inside tire. They deny breaking the tire and the owner's wife even denied that I had a TMPS system. They're dishonest AVOID!!!!!
