Called up and told them what I required. He said that they specialized in European cars. I liked the advertising and thought they would be just fine. The quote given sounded reasonable. I called back and said I'd like to come in that week, and he said when. I got there, the parts had been ordered and were on hand. The service was done in less than one hour. At the price quoted. As I drove off the car was purring. I was very glad I did not listen to him saying what they specialized in. The specialize in great service at a reasonable price.

I actually couldn't wait to write this review geez the stress i've been under lately. So i was at my regular maintenance service at my dealer on Saturday waiting patiently for my baby to be done. Advisor comes up to me saying well you're not gonna like me but your rear brakes are at 20% and need replacing and it's gonna be $1000 for the same brakes. I was like what the fuck in my mind first with the cost and that's not for ceramic my friends! It's basic bitch brakes. Then the issue with wow my car had 70% at 10,457 miles then.. now at 18,132 miles it's at 20% which isn't correct either Precision showed me every detail on my brakes and thoroughly explained what i was seeing and it's actually at 10%. I was shocked at the quote from the dealer i shouldn't have been considering they had just charged me $80 for wiper blades that i was told i could not get anywhere else by the service advisor he also told me i'm not even charging you labor to replace them. Haha well that was bullshit too because Precision can get them and it's not $80!! Wow so this finally opened my eyes to the fact that yea i'm a bit of an idiot for thinking the dealer is the best place to go they won't screw me Lol yea they will, can and do!! So here we are free inspection with open and honest answers and Outstanding customer service at Precision Automotive. From my first phone conversation here to my visits i have felt complete trust and been treated with the utmost respect. They specialize in Audi, BMW, Benz etc.. I've waited in here twice now they have a comfortable waiting area with delightful staff everyone from the owners to the techs are nothing but awesome! I was told they'd have my new ceramic brakes in in a day and yep they came right on time. Install took about 2 hours. They advised me when to expect the front to need replacing and are also going to be doing those in ceramic and will be doing free inspections as i need until it's time for those. Fantastic prices here i won't elaborate on that but just know you won't be screwed like at the dealer. Pricing is fair and legit. And to be honest i've been so stressed about well who's going to do repairs when i need them etc. Because i've lost faith in honesty from my dealer. Well i've found them they've gained a new and loyal customer in me and i want to Thank you guys for taking care of me and my purple beast You Rock!!

My car suddenly stopped starting one day, so I decided to look on yelp for a trusted auto repair shop in town. I saw that Precision had 4.5 stars and a lot of good reviews, so my husband chose to go to this place.We were greeted by Rob and an employee who were very helpful and kind to us. We told him the car was running perfectly fine and hasn't had any issues since we bought it, so we weren't sure what was going on with it. He automatically told us the price for a diagnosis was $149. We were fine with that since the car was already there and not starting anyway. I was nervous at first because looking around, the shop seemed to only service high-end German cars -- I brought my old Toyota in. The interior of the shop was also much more on the high-end side compared to most auto repair shops in town -- almost like you would expect in a dealership, so I was afraid this little problem would cost me more than I actually would expect (I was thinking dealership prices). Then, a client of theirs came in pretty much telling us we were crazy bringing in our old car to a repair shop like this one. He said there's no point in possibly paying 10k in repairs for a 5k car. I freaked out a little more. Rob ensured we don't have to worry about that.I got call updates from Rob throughout the day, which was very nice. He told us it was just a key problem and we needed a new one because our car wasn't reading the one we had. Somehow a chip or something came loose and that's what we needed to start it. He got price options for us and helped us get the best price for a new car key, which I also appreciated very much. I got my car back the same day, which is a HUGE deal. My only issue would be that when I got my car back, the clock on my dash was changed and so were some of my radio dials. I'm a mom with 2 little ones who relies a lot on the clock because I am constantly driving from one location to the next for different sports and activities. When daylight savings came, I updated my clock to ensure it was changed so kids get to school and other activities on time. I was on my way to taking them to school this morning when I looked down at my dash clock and realized we were 20 minutes behind schedule and the hour wasn't correct. I freaked out and double-checked the time on my phone to see that I was actually on schedule. I also like to put the radio on some days and just click the dials. I realized this morning that my stations were all static. I didn't appreciate that, so they lost a star from me.

This review is long overdue.I recently had a bad experience with BMW of Bakersfield and left them negative reviews. It occurred to me that we normally take the time to write long reviews when we're upset or unsatisfied with service received, but we don't usually take the time to write positive reviews when our expectations are met or exceeded. I hope this review is a good start in my showing appreciation to those businesses that deserve recognition.With that said, the service I've received at Precision Automotive on multiple occasions the past 12 months has been outstanding!Rob and the other staff members have been courteous, honest, and they are my go-to for anything involving maintenance/repairs on my BMW-- the only reason I went to BMW of Bakersfield is because, unfortunately, Precision does not perform alignments.I feel relieved knowing that there is a local, trustworthy establishment that I can rely on to professionally handle any issues that I, myself, am unable or unwilling to handle (I do a lot of DIY on my 325i and my Miata).Speaking from my experience--if you have a BMW, don't hesitate to reach out to them for service. I would trust them for other European car brands, as well.Support awesome local, small businesses like Precision! Avoid the "stealership", if you can!

Wonderful customer service. Communicates well on all issues in a manner that you understand. Provides estimate to you prior to any work being done. I would highly recommend Precision automotive to anyone in need of a good honest automotive repair shop.

If they serviced Acuras, I'd drive up here from LA to get mine serviced! I had an inherited Karmann Ghia that needed some attention before I could sell it. Their technician gave it a thorough going-over and I was given the bad news before I laid out a bazillion dollars. Robert honestly gave me his opinion as to what my outlay potentially could be and the likelihood of its success based on the first diagnosis, whereupon I decided to stanch the bleeding based on his analysis. My cost for the diagnosis was VERY reasonable IMHO, considering the details of the inspection they provided, as well as Robert's opinions. The day I waited for the tow truck to pick up the car, I sat in the waiting room and listened to Robert speak with another customer who had his car in for service. Robert asked him several questions to direct a detailed response and then gave this customer a very honest estimate as to the what the problem MIGHT be and the mean time for repair, but reassured the customer that he would be called for customer approval prior to any work being performed. Yep. Nice and honest business people like this still exist. There is hope for the world.

These folks are amazing! I was given a very fair price for brake replacements! I don't see how somebody could rate them 4 stars for doing a great job on their car, especially because they don't understand that fixing electrical problems will almost always reset your statins/clck. Oh well. Thank you Precision!

Amazing service! Traveling through Bakersfield in early September, the AC on our 2018 Honda Pilot quit blowing cool air. We stopped at a Honda dealer who stated abruptly, "we can set an appointment for late-September!" AAA said the issue was not covered; but Precision Automotive provides services that are covered by AAA. We were seen immediately at Precision where the lead manager/mechanic attempted fix the problem. They pulled the car in and thoroughly checked the system. In advance, the manager said that labor would be $145/hour. The AC started working and the mechanic test drove the car to ensure proper cooling. The manager told us that they really didn't do anything to fix the problem as it was caused by a faulty sensor. They checked the brakes and tires and sent us on our way with NO CHARGE! I can't say enough about the wonderful service we received at Precision Automotive! John L. Myers
