WOW! This is the most elevated food truck I've ever had. The food could not be better. The flavors are outstanding and you can tell the food is made with a lot of thought and a lot of heart. I got the chance to meet "Poppa Joe" and he was such a wonderful guy. He has had a lot of training in very high end restaurants, and you can tell. I got the chance to try his food at a Lawless Brewery (check their website for the food truck calendar). I tried the elote, fries, shrimp tacos, chicken tacos and taquitos. Holy moly everything was super flavorful and unforgettable. The sauces, the refreshing and zesty flavors. The perfectly crisp taquitos and savory fries. I couldn't get enough! I cannot wait to delight in their cuisine again soon. Definitely get your booty over to Poppa Joe's Kitchen for a wonderful adventure for your taste buds!

Poppa Joe's catered our wedding and we couldn't have been more impressed and satisfied with everything from start to finish. They offered a private tasting, which was of course delicious, not to mention a lovely experience - we felt very special and taken care of.They were a well-oiled machine at our wedding and everyone was obsessed with the food. We personally had the ceviche, guacamole, fish tacos, steak tacos, squash tacos, and the garlic rice and street corn as sides. SO. GOOD. And the presentation was beautiful!Joe, Michele, and Katie are just wonderful people who truly have a passion for sharing delicious, authentic, fresh food with the world. We plan to keep going back to visit them at breweries/food markets whenever we can. Highly recommend this amazing business!

I am surprised that there is no review for this food truck. Their menu js very simple, coastal style which is mostly seafood with fresh, local products. The portion is generous. Most dishes are between $16-18, a bowl of rice is about $8, a bowl of garlic fries is $8. We got Mahi Mahi bowl $18, Mahi Mahi sandwich $16, a large bowl of garlic fries $8. - Mahi Mahi bowl: grilled Mahi Mahi, served with jasmine rice, roasted garlic & parsley. The fish is very fresh and seasoning well. Rice is also cooked well, moist, not sticky. Roasted garlic and parsley elevate the dish.- Mahi Mahi sandwich: grilled Mahi Mahi, served with slaw and French bread. It is very tasty even for the next day.Overall, we enjoyed their food. For $50, we were pretty full and still had left over for next day lunch.

I was at a Wildfox sample sale in Bell, California and there's a taco truck that rolled up... First of all, it was a super cool looking truck with all the graphics on it. It looked like a really nice food truck. I've eaten some pretty questionable things from people cooking them on the street late nights in various parts of the city. Hell, I even ate the haggis in Scotland... That was interesting anyways back to my story.I went up to the menu and I downloaded the menu and I saw that the food was a little pricier than what I'm used to paying for food truck food, but this leads me to what I've said before so many times...sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you don't and the only way that you can find out is by taking that chance! I got the three taquitos plate for $20 that comes with garlic rice and elotche. My friend got the mahi-mahi fish tacos she gave me part of her fish taco. I gave her a taquito, and I gave her a couple of scoops of the rice and the corn.First bite I took was a rice. It was amazing. I'm like this is the rice I'm getting crazy over just the rice I'm like let me try the corn try the corn lost my mind over that then I took a bite of the taquito and let me tell you something I don't know what they're frying these taquitos in but they were fresh they were crispy. This is the best, Mexican food. I've had all of it food truck. And I've eaten all of a lot of food trucks ... It was so good that I had to get out of my car and go tell them how good it was and then tell everybody at the sample sale that they need to eat some and I proceeded to show them my food and tell them how good it was and that they be doing themselves a disservice not to eat it that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I can't wait to have some more food from Poppa Joe's! I am going to follow them and find out where they are at next in probably sometime next week. I've got a try I want my own set of mahi-mahi tacos the beer, battered fish tacos were just phenomenal the crunch the crispy crunch I don't know what they're frying their food in but whatever it is, it's amazing! Five stars all the way across the board plus really cool chefs. Love those guys! If you see Poppa Joe's you stop and get some tacos. There's no if ands or butts about it! Do it! I promise...your mouth will thank you.!!!!

In all honesty I'm not too sure if I would come back to my local breweries on a Friday night and spend $50+ dollars on food. Was the food good yes, but for 2 potato tacos and 2 sides $26+ and garlic tater tots @ $10 a pop. The cost just adds up. Service was nice and friendly I cannot complain about that. Ambiance was Smog City brewing it's home to me. Just the cost of food didn't add up to me.
