I first tried Pop Pop's when they were in Bakersfield, Ca. As of 2025, they have relocated to McFarland, Ca. We made the 30 minute drive today for lunch and it did not disappoint! I've told family and friends about this place and they all agree that it is very delicious! The owner and his staff are always super nice! Today, we arrived shortly after 12pm and were the only ones there. Pizzas and cheese bread took about 15 minutes to come out. When it's really busy, it does take a bit longer, but to me, it's worth the wait.

I highly recommend Pop Pop's pizza and their over the top bread sticks. This is my new favorite pizza in town. All their toppings are freshly cut and the pizza crust cooked to perfection. I still can't get over the breadsticks. The owner was so friendly, going out of his way to be welcoming. The star of the show was team member Nat. She was informative with all the specials, attentive to details, friendly and professional. What really impressed me most was Nat brought my order out to the table instead of calling me to pick it up. Treat yourself to some good quality pizza or breadsticks and support our local business people.

Damon and Kayla made me some of the best pizza I've had in this town in a while! So friendly it's refreshing! And the garlic twist breadsticks were to dieeee for Omg! Bomb ranch too for sauce lovers! We were amazing but how good Kayla is at tossing the pizzas! The owner Damon is among the friendliest and coolest owners I've met here! Definitely treat yourself it's super affordable and super cute date spot where you can also get a milkshake from the sweet treat truck next to the pizza truck We love pop pops!

Pop Pop's has been on my radar for a while and I finally got to go try it out. I called ahead because I know they sometimes run out of dough and they close up for the day. The owner was really nice when I called, he told me they had about 30 doughs left so I needed to come within a couple hours. I told him I would be there in a half hour and he told me "I'm gonna feed you good tonight" which got a laugh from me. When I ordered he asked if I had been there before and I told him it was my first visit, he gave me an order of garlic knots on the house because he likes people to try his product. I had a 4 topping pizza and it was delicious. Generous with the toppings, great sauce and well cooked pizza. My wife had a cheese pizza and really enjoyed it as well. The garlic knots were very tasty and well cooked and the ranch was great as well. It was a fantastic experience and very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be a repeat customer and urge everyone that hasn't been to go give it a try.

OH my gosh! First, let me say I was fortunate enough to try Pop Pop's early on, back in April! Their dough and their sauce is what brings us back time and time again! The cheese and meats are top notch also, but you can tell the owner REALLY cares about his craft and his homemade dough and sauce. I also must speak to the author of the one and only poor review. Give this place a second look. With a one or two person, small business, stuff happens. As you can tell from all the other reviews, this place is the BOMB!! To everyone else, get there early (or follow the advice of one of the other 5 star reviews and call ahead to make sure they didn't sell out). Keep up the amazing job Pop Pop! You have a life long customer in me, my family, and our friends!

our pizzas were beautifully made from scratch and cooked to perfection. It was very delicious and filling. The owners are very sweet and im pleasantly satisfied with their connection to their customers. Jordan and Mark are the best very nice sat and chatted with us for a moment. Very caring people. I'll be here more often! 10/10

Delicious pizza! Think crust, crispy on the edges - perfect amounts of toppings (sauce, cheese, pepperoni and pineapple for me!)The owner is awesome - great customer and super friendly. This is a fairly new pizza truck - located near a fast trip.Saw it as we were driving down Rosedale Highway - give him a chance, you won't be disappointed! It's a nice change from the same kind of stuff It is a food truck, with a great atmosphere! They have a nice courtyard set up with picnic tables and restrooms - definitely a plus when you have the family!

From the service too the food. Wait time is not bad at all! Damon has brought a wonderful experience to McFarland! Pizza is a great price and delicious and is a must try! Prices are good and affordable! And the ambiance is nice! Will be back for sure! Also try the chocolate pillows thank me later you won't regret it!!!

Delicious pizza made with fresh ingredients! Owner was very nice and inviting. A must try. EV chargers and playground / bathrooms were in the same lot. A nice pit stop.
