Pet Boutique

I can't give Sherry and her incredibly loving staff at the Pet Boutique in Ridgecrest enough stars to justify their professionalism, kindness and amazing talent. When I took my beloved Aussie, Chloe, in to them today for her summer "haircut," I asked Sherry to check her paw, as Chloe had been limping lately. Sherry discovered there was nothing wrong with her paw but suspected from the difficulty Chloe demonstrated in getting up on the table that the problem lied in her hip. Sherry added she could tell from Chloe's behavior that she was also in pain. Sherry carefully adjusted Chloe's "beauty" treatments to ensure she could groom her without causing any pain. While she was busy doing that, I got on the phone with our vet and described Chloe's symptoms. He said he suspected the Pet Boutique was correct in their assessment, told me I was lucky to have taken Chloe to such observant and caring people, and advised me to bring Chloe in asap. I can't thank the Pet Boutique enough for their help, wisdom and advice. They attended to Chloe for 4-plus hours and she looked more beautiful, relaxed and happy than I'd see her look for months. They even insisted on lifting Chloe into the back seat of my car so she wouldn't have to jump up and hurt her hip. All this for the grand total of -- wait for it -- $31! You can't go wrong with these wonderful people. Look no further for 5-star pet grooming if you live in Ridgecrest. Will not be taking my dog there ever again. Thought I would try it, called on Wednesday to make an appointment for Friday they said it would only take a couple hours, dropped off my dog called again to see if my dog was done three and half hours later they have not even touched my dog for grooming. They over booked. And I needed my dog by noon to go to another appointment. Total waste of time.

Sherri is always wonderful with my little baby. I love her work and as a bonus the Pet Boutique helps out Almost Eden Dog Rescue in town. Great place!

I've always been happy with The Pet Boutique. I drop my dog off first thing in the morning and they call me when they're done, usually by 1 pm. Just plan that they're going to keep your dog this long. Also, be specific about what you want. For example, my dog gets shaved for the summer so I let them know: shave everything, no hair left on tail, legs, head etc.

Pet Botique did a wonderful job grooming our dogs. One of our dogs has epilepsy and they worked with us to get him scheduled first thing in the morning so he would be done in time for his next medications. Both of our dogs looked great and we will definitely be coming back!
