Perfetto Italian Restaurant

Food was awesome. I definitely suggest a reservation. We came on a bad night. The staff was overwhelmed with a big party and us other smaller parties suffered for it. We were able to sit right away, but soon every table was full and there were parties waiting for a seat. We asked for drink refills 5 times. They kept coming out of the kitchen with plates of food for the big party, but couldn't bother to bring water and wine refills to the smaller tables. The waiter had a strap on his bracelet that fell on my plate of food as he reached across to place another dish.We ordered food that never made it out. The food that we did receive was very good--that's why I'm still leaving a high rating. We had ordered another round of bread and apps that they were apparently just too busy to make or forgot. Another lady came out that seemed embarrassed and thanked everyone for their patience...But still didn't bring water. We were here for 2 hours. Italian is my favorite and I really wanted to love this place and support a local family-run business. I think it'd be a much better experience on a less busy night with full staff and no after dinner plans. Call ahead for a reservation and plan to stay awhile.

Everything about this place was outstanding. The owner is so nice, and she makes the magic happen. Homemade noodles made with love. There was nothing that wasn't just perfect. Portions are big, you will definitely have leftovers. Worth every penny. This place is busy from the moment it opens. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend it. 2 very important words...HOMEMADE PASTA!!!! This place is the real deal!!! Excellent service and phenomenal food make this place a must for date night. Tempura cauliflower with dill dip is also fantastic. The shrimp cocktail had nice sized shrimp that were ice coldThanks for always making us feel special.

An absolutely amazing dining experience! Service was impeccable- friendly, personal, efficient. The food was exceptional tasting with way too many great choices. It really took me awhile to decide as my mouth was watering o eat several items. I settled on the grilled salmon that was cooked to perfection. My friend had the clam pasta and it was delicious as well. Both dishes came with soup or salad and tasty garlic bread. A nice, spacious area with well spaced out tables and booths. Great music to dine by. You felt like you were swept away for a brief time to Italy.

Hot can of soda that melted the ice instantly. Horrible pasta, I didn't even eat it. Took us 15 years to try this place, and we won't be back. We left and had dinner someplace better.

Great food, great service. My son and I had a wonderful dinner there tonight. Friendly and helpful staff and fresh food.

This is a sweet little gem in Tehachapi, it feels like you're being served right out of your nonna's kitchen. Their pasta dishes are amazing - they make their own pasta and we always have enough for leftovers for another night of wonderfulness. Also, shoutout to the waitress who is always there, she is incredibly kind, and even got us dessert on the house. If you're looking for a sweet and cozy spot for some incredible pasta, this is the place!

We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and I'm so glad we did. It was the best meal we have had in ages. The restaurant is relaxing and the staff very nice. The food was delicious and vegetarian friendly. The creamy red pepper soup made me want to lick the bowl. That pasta was perfect. We look forward to enjoying more special occasions here.

Everything was top notch, so fresh and full of flavor. You can definitely tell everything is homemade with intention.. soup/salad, marinara sauce and fried zucchini, garlic bread, lasagna, and the seafood special was all PHENOMENAL. We travel for work and get so nervous trying new places bc quality has gone down everywhere it seems, but definitely not the case here. Can't wait to come back and try some more menu items. Oh and the desert we brought him pistachio cannolis...you guessed it alsoAmazing.

We went there last week for the first time since we moved to Tehachapi 6 years ago. Let's just say, I won't be back. How can you ruin chicken picatta? Well, they certainly did. The pasta was overdone as if it was sitting on the stove all day, the chicken was tasteless and the capers were so overdone they resembled large peas. It was not the chicken picatta that I'm familiar with. Just chuncks of chicken that reminded me of something from the Campbell's soup company. I brought the whole dinner home for my dog, he was hesitant about eating it but in the long run, it appeared as if he enjoyed it. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs, also unedible because of the dry overdone pasta. I'm giving 3 stars because the garlic bread was tasty and the waitress was really nice, and, I guess I can throw in that my other dog actually jumped for joy eating the meatballs. So, if you want to get a nice meal for your dogs, by all means, go.
